Weight Gaining

Ok so ive been lifting for football since i was like 14 im now 20 and not playing anymore, as a receiver i would workout to get stronger but not to get big where i lose speed. So now that i haven't been playing for a few months i wanted to put some size on. Ive been trying for a good 3-4 months to get some size but haven't seen any change in weight or looks. Im also not taking any protein or supplement i think thats a reason, can someone give me some recommendations on things to put size on and fast! thanks!
 
Okay first off not taking supplements is NOT ur problem. If u are not gaining weight and u are working put hard..then ur diet is off. Adjust diet is all you need.
 
just recently adjusted my diet probably to early to see any changes but id still like some advice on protein and supplements! like whats good and what other people use!
 
Increase your intake of Protein and Carbs if you're wanting to put on weight. You don't need supplements but it might help.

A good bulking/mass gainer supplement is Serious Mass. 1200 cals per serving can't go wrong with that!

I've always said protein, ammino's, and creatine are three of the best for recovery, strength and size. You can never go wrong with pure creatine mono, ammino's are basic and help a lot with recovery. Combat protein vanilla or chocolate both have amazing taste and mix easily. GL with everything!!
 
I'd just eat more, keep track of how many calories you are eating and start somewhere around 3500 since we don't have your weight/height. If you don't gain weight in 1 week add 500 cals and keep doing that until you gain, keep in mind if you are extremely active you are going to need a LOT of calories to gain since your metabolism will be rev'd up a lot more.

dont use the weight gainer products unless you are trying to get a gut. start eating, over time you will increase your appeitite and weight. try to eat 17-20x your weight in calories 200lbsx20= 4000 calories. it cant be garbage food, you gotta eat good. im eating 4000 a day im eating my weight X22 and i gain a pound a week right now. might not sound like much, but thats 50lbs a year. you wont actually gain that much. if you eat that much everyday in good food and get 1.5x bodyweight of protein, 30 lbs are not unheard of in the first year of training and thats clean.

LOL. Calories are calories man. Whether you get it through a weight gainer or whole food. I could eat 800 cals from food or get 800 cals from a weight gainer. Same damn thing.

N2Bulk is also made from SWEET POTATOES so it's going to have slower digesting carbs

I do agree with this, people give me shit for it all the time and i set PR's every single week. Mmmm sweet potatoes sound so good right now, i'll have to pickup some of that N2 Bulk, i love the Whey to build muscle so i can expect the same great quality from their gainer :)
