Went to see the TRT clinic. HCG mono protocol

Well I went to see a trt clinic today. The best in Canada. The doctor was awesome. Very nice and cut the bullshit. He looked at all my labs and straight up said these are shit. He said the ranges that life labs has are so screwed up. He says prior to my clomid I was way below what nost doctors around the world call a normal range and says my newest ones still are low. Especially for a 20 year old male. Plus he said it is about how you feel and that ranges are pretty well bullshit because what the tests show really dont tell you much about the body. Anyways he has prescribed me HCG to use three times a week and bloodwork to be taken in 2 months. I talked to him about clomid but he doesn't feel like it truely works. He said I have already taken it and sure i showed some improvement but it was minimal. He said in order for me to sustain the levels that I need that hcg is the first way of trying to do this. Soooo I guess my journy starts. Kinda scared but hey Im so sick of not being myself. Oh and this guy has over 5000 patients and keeps getting more and more. He knows his shit for sure

Damn! He has to average seeing 3 patients an hour if he tries to see them all in one year and not take on any new ones.

Are you trying to do a restart? Or does he want you to stay on HCG for the rest of your life?

He'll keep him on HCG till it stops raising his T level.
Good to see you on your way JT.
Keep us posted on your progress.
Are u starting out with 350 I.u. 3 times a week?

It was a busy place. i think there were 5 guys or so in the waiting room the whole time I was there. I have to take .5 of a cc 3 times a week. He prescribed me 10 000 units which he said would last the 8 weeks. I don't think he is looking at a restart as much as just a mono protocol for now because he doesn't feel that I'll be able to sustain levels any higher than I already am. Says that it has been over 1.5 years since I took 3 weeks of a prohormone and that I took clomid for 5 weeks. If my body was going to recover fully it would have by now

So it sounds like you are trying to do a restart. After 8 weeks of HCG will you be running Clomid?

Wow. .
500 I.u. HCG 3 times a week ?
At your age I was feeling awesome at 350 I.u. 3 times a week.
I'm a combo of primary/secondary now after all these years and 500 I.u. 3 times a week gives me an insane libido and decent performance in gym.
You might very well hit 35-40 nmol/l on this protocol.
Lol..

College will be good for you this fall JT....
Get ready to start hooking up with those cheerleaders.
Lol

I wont be using clomid in 8 weeks. He just wants to see what this dosage of hcg does for me on 8 weeks so we can adjust accordingly if we need to. Ya apollon girls will be good. Im more excited about having a strong clear brain so i can do better in school. Not that i do bad but i struggle way more now with brain fog and concentration than i ever used to!! But ya..the girls should be a good time !

And i think my dosage is 350 l.u three times a week. Thats 1050 a week. And he prescribed me 10 000 which is enough for 8 week

After about a week on HCG I felt quality of life dramatically increase. I went clubbing and was getting full out hardons in night clubs watching all the hot chicks.
I love those days man....
Was great being young. Enjoy bro.

Thanks buddy I appreciate it. I am looking forward to my life now moving forward and past this point that I have been stuck at for the last year and a half

Hey guys I am just wondering somewthing. When I go see my new trt doc in 8 weeks after being on hcg should I ask if he woulod be willing to do a clomid and nolvadex combo and see if my body will sustain the new higher levels? WOuld be nice being able to restart and avoid pinning the rest of my life for a while. Only if I feel good that is. What do you think?

Not really a dilemma. Ya he wants to see me in 8 weeks to see how I respond to hcg. If it works well I thinki I want to ask if I can run clomid after it and see if my body can restart to optimum levels! I have nothing to lose

You would need to stop the HCG and then get on the SERM
On the day your next HCG shot would be due.
Doubt he will give you it though....
Lol
The HCG should work. You are a young guy. If it works belive me you will be at optimum levels.

I'm just coming off 3 months of mono at 1,000 IUs 2x week. I raised my total T from 400 to over 700, but any gains in free or bio T were negated when my SHBG doubled from 27 to 51, and I still have the same symptoms of low motivation, libido, etc. I was thinking of doing Clomid/Nolva coming off the mono, but my Dr doesn't use that protocol, so I'm off everything this week. My Dr said your body can build up antibodies to HCG if your on it too long and recommended taking a break for a month, then using the HCG for 2 more months. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully used HCG monotherapy, as I have heard that many guys end up on TRT when mono fails.

JT19: Did you Dr give you an AI (HCG can raise E2)? My Dr recommended a product containing Tongat Ali and DIM, but I ended up taking Adex on my own (1/4 tab 2x week) and I brought my E2 down to 23 from 35.

Your doc is full of crap. "Antibodies"?
What is it a vaccine that has viruses?
Rificulous.
So your doc is basically a jerkoff that is letting you crash to less T than you had before starting HCG mono by pulling you off telling you b.s.

2000 I.u. of HCG a week and you only got 300 ng/dl lift in TT?
Most mono protocols are 350-550 I.u. 3 times a week.

Ask your doc if staying on TRT causes the human body to produce "antibodies"....ask him does he pull off his patients from TRT as well for a rest period?

So monotherapy can be run for more than 2 months without any adverse affects? If that's the case, I'll just run 2 more months of mono before I make a decision about committing to TRT for life... I had actually changed my dosing schedule to 250 IUs a day rather than the 1,000 IUs 2x a week, although I think 500 IUs M-W-F also worked well.

I didn't believe the antibody theory myself, nor could I find any information supporting that theory, but I do believe long term HCG use will eventually disrupt the HPTA by stopping the release of gonadotropin releasing hormone. I had normal levels of LH and FSH to begin with, so I was worried that long term use of HCG would cause me to be secondary hypogonadal (I was probably primary to begin with). I was thinking about running a month of Clomid/Nolvadex when I finally finish the monotherapy just to get my HPTA functioning more quickly.

Even more disappointing than the 300 lift in TT was my bio T: I only went from 130 to 140 in a 110-575 ref range, as my SHBG doubled from 27 to 51, and I still have low libido/energy/motivation, etc. So I've spent $3,000+ for 3 months of out of network HCG monotherapy only to raise my BaT by 10, and I still have symptoms of low T!

Off course HCG is going to interupt the HPTA. If your HPTA was working right your doctor wouldn't have you on it. HCG is analog LH. Exogenous LH.
I been on it for years at same dose and after a couple years on it my TT level fell 210 ng /dl....
Did thid genius prescribe an a.i. for you?
2k I.u. HxCGa week will send estradiol thru the roof bringing SHBG with it thus making less T bio available.
