What am I doing wrong with respect to my pinning??? 9 weeks on TRT, 23 gauge needle

I leave my test out for at least an hour if not 8 after I draw it to let some of the gases evaporate

Every glute injection results in a lump somedays pins are better than others
Every shoulder injection feels like a damn bee sting

The only injections that are painless are quads.

I rotate sites with every pin and don't repeat till 3 weeks later.

Is it because I am injecting 1cc of L-glutathione with my .5cc of test?

That's a large needle - somewhat old school. I can't even look at a needle that big.

Ever consider subq with an insulin syringe? Or the same spots as current but with an insulin syringe? My 29g 1/2 insulin syringes, into the delts, is essentially IM. Same with into the quad.

Zero pain, ever.

Also - that's alot of liquid, period. So you inject 1.5cc, every injection? I can see why there is a lump.

Even guys with shitty protocols, like 200mg, every two weeks, only pin 1cc at a time.

I had a doc that was prescribing 100mg/ml, so 1.5cc would be a 150mg weekly shot. Not sure what the concentration of the test is in this case. Before I split by shots into 2x a week, I took 140mg (1.4ml) all at once. I never had a lump or soreness.

How big are you? How much fat do you have? If you're using a 1" needle, you may need 1.5". I use 23g 1", and it's worked fine for me, so far, but I'm not huge.

I use a 1 inch 25g needle in the quads, i have big quads so lots of room and not much fat there so I dont' even have to push it all the way in to get it in the muscle. Never have a problem pinning. Pull the skin tight with your fingers and test the spot as you are about to pin, if it hurts there is a nerve ending there and I move a tiny bit away to a spot that has no feeling when i push on the skin.

My clinic is pretty heavy into the holistic scene and they firmly believe injecting the anti oxidant L-Glutathione is critical to a comprehensive protocol

It's essential to their bottom line thats for sure. There is some evidence that it helps with mitigating the side effects of chemotherapy, but zero evidence for any of the other claims supplement companies and alternative medicine folks make about it.

The claim is it's good for you. The research I have done indicate this to be an absolute fact. You're right though, it certainly increases their bottom line, but my insurance pays for it anyway and even if they didn't i could afford it so it no big deal

glutathione is the master amino acid. It is absolutely good for you. That is a fact. I wish My doctor would prescribe it to me.

FYI that needle os hug move to a 26 or 27 to inject. 18 to draw.

Not all states allow pharmacy sales without prescription.

For 1.5mL, insulin syringes are not an option.

PM sent.

I don't think this is a needle size problem. 23g is fine for injections. Would a smaller gauge be a little more comfortable? Sure. But the 23g is not causing lumps. And .5ml is a very small volume for any of those muscles.

Are the lumps painful? in other words is it an abscess? If not and it is just a lump under the skin, you are probably not putting the needle in deep enough. Or you are missing the heart of the muscle.

So let us know if this is a painful abscess or just a lump of oil under the skin. Is there any signs of infection.

And tell use where specifically that you are injecting. Are you following the guidance from Spot Injections for example? Maybe a picture would help showing where you inject.

Finally, what do you mean you leave your test out after drawing to let the gases evaporate? Draw it from the vial? Leave it in the syringe? What gases are you talking about? How would it evaporate? I am really confused by this.

switch to a 25 gauge 1 inch for pinning and if possible separate the other stuff and see how you react, maybe do the amino acid in the glutes and the test in the delts and see how it goes
