had labs drawn a few days ago and this came back high... but dont really know what it entails. could someone shine some light on it?

thank u

BUN 29 (high) range 6-20
Bun/Creatinine Ratio 26 (high) range 8-19

thank u

BUN stands for Blood Urea Nitrogen (I hope), and an elevated BUN level can indicate that you are taking in more protein than your body can use.

Being high on both BUN and ratio seems pretty common on a high protein diet and with creatine supplementation.

... And/or someone dehydrated during the draw. Something to be aware of on your next draw, so try to drink plenty of fluids before to rule that out. :)

i do eat a high protein diet... should i cut back on my protein and add more carbs and veggies to help bring these numbers down?

Thanks ill def do that on the next one this saturday that im having a blood draw to confirm low t levels.

I wouldn't worry about that stuff. And I definitely wouldn't start eating more carbs and less protein to shift it. Rather high BUN than a case of the sugars ;)

I've had my blood worked about a million times in my life and I've never had BUN or Creatinine in range.

Always. Longggg before TRT. I went down the worm hole for a while with "specialists" and never got a definitive answer.

Much more worried about thick blood, gyno/estrogen, infection, etc, etc, etc... than some random numbers no one can really explain or fix.
