Then stop giving out false info and study your anatomy if you're gonna give out advice on it.

found this on the internet. this is different than my book. lololololololol

which one is wrong?

the book i got is entitled "anatomy and physiology".

you still boring as hell.

course i think i like agrevating you. so maybe you not boring.

speaking of pecs, hows that bench coming along?

Those links are correct. The pec minor is used in shoulder rotation and is under the pec major. Perhaps your book is pointing to the pec major indicating that the pec minor is located underneath?

How's my bech? Had to ditch the bench, sowwy :( I'm entering a strongman competition in October, so I need to ditch the bench for overhead pressing. Gotta drop 15 lbs or so and get in the under 200 lbs category so I don't get my ass kicked too bad ;)

where you competing. we have a few SM competitors at our gym. Johnny Perry used to train here before he passed. Geoff Dolan trains here occassionaly too.

the weigt classes at the meets these guys do is 230 and below and 231 and above. not sure what fed it is or if they even have different feds in SM.

hope you enjoy the SM and good luck with it.

as far as the book goes i looked at it several times and it clearly states what i posted. i have had that book for years too. guess i need to get a new one, it is very old. cant believe everything you read.

OH btw have you included front squats in you routine since you training for SM. the guys at the gym do a lot of front squats, deads, GMs, mililtary presses and grip work. they all said grip is the most important thing to work.

I'll be changing up exercises every 2 weeks. Right now I'm doing good mornings, which I really need to improve on (made my hams sore but didn't touch my back). I can do front squats as well.

I'll be working on my weaknesses, which is deadlift and grip (haha, that's almost entirely what strongman is). My lower back is fairly strong but my hams are weak, so i will be working on that. Grip I'll be doing lots of things...farmers walk, static holds, thick grip farmers walks, captains of crush, etc. I just have to make sure my grip is good enough for farmers walk (185 lb per hand), but I can use straps for deadlift for reps.

The meet will be in Pittsburgh, PA. I dunno what federation or anything. A buddy of mine just said, "hey, there's a strongman competition, wanna do it?" He has tires, kegs, logs, etc that I can use to get used to the implements.

good luck bro and let us know how it turns out.

PA is a hot bed for PLers as well. I know a lot of good folks up there.
