What happens if you fry your HTPA in your 20s?

What would the proper course of action be if you made some serious mistakes running gear improperly and at too young of an age, and as a result made yourself hypogonadal? After trying an extended pct and having it fail. Would your best bet be to go to your doctor and play the "testbooster turned out to be a prohormone"? Would you be better off trying something like IMT? Or would taking your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) into your own hands be best until you were in your 30s and could more easily obtain testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) from a doctor?

Not saying I'm in this position, but i'm a little worried about my current pct restarting me, as i did some silly things before i found the knowledge here.

Any thoughts?

If you're concerned about being shut down, just go to your doc, explain the symptoms that lead you to think this way and ask for a blood test. Don't mention anything about AAS, test boosters or PH's.

Any of those options are valid for obtaining test, what's "best" is what works for you.

Working with an experienced physician or IMT would be your best bet as doing self medicated testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is too involved for most. It's more than just test and estradiol you need to be concerned about. Plus the legal factor of having a script can be a blessing.

Self medication would be a last resort. But wouldn't it be incredibly difficult and a very long process to receive testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at a young age?

It depends on your levels and the doctor him/her self. Some doctors hold different views.

I agree with Dre 100%.
TRT is a long road any way you slice it.

One id like to avoid for another 10 years. I've done everything by the book since finding this forum, but i fear the damage was done long before.

I fear my current doctor would be somewhat against this, unless i was extremely pushy and was in his office every other week.

No sense in worrying about speculation. Finish it up what you're running, do PCT by the books, and get bloods 6-8wks after post cycle therapy (pct). Use your energy now to make he most of what you're on

Schools a killer, barely have time to eat let alone lift. Like a triple whammy in catabolism.

You know I know exactly how demanding that program you're in is lol ;). My cousin was able to do it and lift while still coming home on the weekends. Just keep your mind in the right place, prioritize and allot your time wisely and go balls to the wall give it 100%.

But you are supposed to be young and invincible. :-)

On a serious note, try to get the script from a doc. It will make your life much easier and you will have a reliable source. It will obviously be tougher at your age, but keep talking to docs and one will help you feel better.

You're absolutely eligible for a restart. I am very confident in restarts when done properly under an up to date physicians care.

I feel your pain. Fitting in 2hrs at the gym with 6+hrs a night of homework and 3-8hrs of lectures a day is certainly a challenge. But it's worth it! :)

Damn, all 3 of you guys are late to the party. If his HPTA had been fried he might have been pinning 10,000iu of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) EOD in hopes of a restart and you guys would have been nowhere to be found. I guess this means

Team Avido and Dre: six hundred bazillion points
Team Aust, Half, Mega: -327,876 points

:p

But what if it's just sauteed, and not fried? UH HUH, I THOUGHT SO. :nono:

I never did reply directly to the OP, and I just realized that. My bad. I'd just bring the complaints of low T to the doctor and let him think he can discover it with a few gentle nudges in the right direction. I'd go clomid over Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for a restart anyway. :p

Provided it's secondary hypogonadism, otherwise - that feedback loop is just talking to itself. :)

"I'm givin' her all she's got Captain!"

"Damnit Jim; I'm a gonad, not a freakin' depot!"

Okay, enough nerd humor from me. Nice commentary LOL!
