purchased BA, BB USP grade and ethyl oleate NF grade from *******supply.net

are they both safe to use right out of the vials for brewing?

thanks drew. i just want to make sure were on the same page...you mean i need to filter it separately before mixing or filter the final product?

i have USP grade BB,BA and NF grade EO...

so i dont need to filter the BB or BA(usp grade) but i need to filter the EO(nf grade) before mixing it all up?

don't worry about USP this or that. Like drew said, everything gets filtered so its a moot point.

i used to use peanut oil from the grocery store. :D

Even if its filtered the point isnt moot.... NF and USP specification standards have criteria for the ppm quantities of heavy metals....

If you have any significant amount of heavy metals in dissolution... NO amount of filtering is going to get them out.. That is the reason why the USP standard carries so much weight.

Now from the site he posted..... They carry USP grade oils and solvents which are re-labeled "technical grade" because they are purchased in bulk and repackaged..

So.. Its up to you to decide if you take their claims for face value or not.
