Body fat: 13% ( that's what the machine reads, not sure if accurate )
I have been consistently training and keeping my diet as clean as possible for the past year and a half. I track macros on a daily basis and weight training 6 x a week and do some cardio 20-30 minutes 3 times a week. I was able to recomp the first year after I started training and exercising. I maintained pretty much the same weight, but my overall body appearance changed dramatically. Gaining muscle is extremely difficult for me without gaining a lot of fat. I have bulked up and gained strength and size, but carried fat around my abdominal area and thighs. I cut down to my current weight and I am still feeling bloated. It seems that bulking for me equals gaining fat and not a lot of muscle size.
Honestly, I’m frustrated and discouraged. I’m not lazy or not willing to put in the work. On the contrary, I put in the work and eat right with very little gains. My friend suggested I try anavar as she saw some decent lean gains on it and even lowered her body fat. Her strength also went up which is something that I need in order to follow through with progressive overload. I have never done an AAS and this would be my first cycle. I am aware of the possible side effects and feel prepared to start this cycle mentally and physically.
What do you suggest the dosage should be for me? I am looking to gain strength and size. As far as expectations…How many pounds of muscle should I expect to gain in 8 weeks with a dose of 10mg a day? I’m sure this is hard to gage. One of my main concerns is that I will be cutting, but I have little muscle mass…Will anavar increase muscle size along with creating definition? I wouldn’t want something that will just shrivel me up without giving me muscle size as I have very little. Any insight is appreciated and will definitely be taken into account for this cycle.
