whatman filter question???

How can you tell if you blew the filter out? When I hold it up to a light i can see little cracks in it. Is it ruined?

if the filter starts leaking and there is no pressure resisting when you are trying to filter.....

In regards to your debris in the vial, id just recommend getting a larger vial, a new filter and filtering all the old batch into the new vial, then purging the filter with that leftover oil. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
