What's your favorite quick meal?

I'm trying to get a good idea of quick/easy meals to cook after coming home from the gym or work. I'm getting tired of 'to go' salads from super markets.
Today I made a throw together stir fry. What do you guys think?

Heated up some olive oil and crushed garlic (jar'd kind you can spoon out)
threw in some cooked chicken strips (kind that come in a box at the store)
put in frozen veggies (bell peppers, and broccoli)
boiled "in a bag" brown rice.
Mixed it all together.
And of course had to throw some low sodium soy sauce in it.

Took about 5 min to get everything together. About 10 min to cook. All in all about 15 min to cook and make a plate.

Does anyone have other meals they enjoy making that are quick and easy?

these are all pretty quick
1.cottage cheese and almonds
2. ground turkey/grilled chicken (that ive cooked ahead of time and put in the fridge) with 90 second brown rice and veggies that ive already cooked and put in the fridge
3. whey + oatmeal or EVOO shake
4. a can of tuna in between some whole wheat bread with a bunch of lettuce
5. leftover steak, sliced, and put in a big bowl of lettuce with EVOO dressing
6. McDonalds

no fast food is actually under rated as a source of Protien and dense calories. When I'm tired of eating fresh food and clean carbs I go eat a couple Big Macs or more and bam easy meal that is 1000 cals to 4000 cals depending on your gaol, then you can always drop manaise and katchup or what ever to drop any unwanted calories or extra fat. Plus then you got other places that have salads and baked patatoes and other things, its just not going to get the the Vitamins and Minerals you need, but thats why we take multi's and eat other healthier foods. Moderation is the key, unless you are on a bulk =)

l make rice with chicken breast and vegies mixed in together with some oyster sauce for flavour...got the idea to maybe cook an egg too and add it in.

If I'm super lazy I'll make my favorite concoction 1 large apple(gala, washington) 4 tablespoons of natural peanut butter ~cut the apple in half and remove the seeds....spread 2 tablespoons over each side of the apple. ~1 large apple is 35g carbs ~2 tablespoons of PB is 10g protein ~by the time you're done you got 20g protein-50g carbs-32g of the best fat and 630 cals. I love that shit!

Put some oatmeal into a coffee bean grinder and make it into a nice powder.

Add this to some whey and drink up.

For main meals I like the 10 min brown rice and some chicken on the george foreman, which takes about 10 min. Or some steaks or salmon under the broiler, again about 10 min. I usually cook about 6 sweet potatoes at a time and put 5 in the fridge so then while whatever protein is cooking, a sweet potatoe in the microwave for about 2 min is fast.

Amen Venom96!!! Thats my regular meal right there gotta love the foreman grill and 10min brown rice, its too easy.

Shit, why didn't I think of that. That's a great idea. I know that oats are a good energy food but I never feel like eating them the normal way
(cooked with milk) because it's heavy on the stomach, I get full really quick.

make a protein shake( i like chocolate) and put it on rolled oats and let it sit a bit. Put some honey and raisens or fresh fruites and bam u got yourself a real healthy breakfast. :D I'm a lazy ass when it comes to cooking.
I make eggs and grill steak and burgers, thats about it :D

I do stir frys as well. Chicken breast in olive oil, then toss in onions, celery, water chestnuts, bok choy, snow peas, and even shrimp. Basically anything that's in the vegetable crisper. Then I'll toss the stuff on a plate to free up the wok, and dump in a cup or two of pre-cooked brown rice-hit it with 5 spice, and scramble and egg or two in the rice. I'll toss the stir fry back in and mix it all with soy sause-low sodium.

I'll eat for two or three days off twenty minutes of cooking, and it's gooooood.
