gaining bulk !

what is the only way to train all muscle groups just heavy compound movements. and what should they consist of besides benching and curling ? I use the 5x5 method, but could use some info about training for bulking. I will be on cycle too test/eq/dbol.

thanks, rook.

That is a tough damn question bro........I do 4 X 8 and will tell you that some days i canot do as much as i would like and others more.........I can help by saying do basic compound movements and move out from there based on how much fuel is left in the tank.....

Hey bro, i am not as familiar with the 5 X 5 thing and i see there is a thread on it,,,,,,,,Sorry,,,,,,,I don't have much of a system i just lift until i can't push or pll anymore rest enough to walk out of the gym and that's it........I am not recommending it but that is what i do it just feels good to me......

Heavy compound movements that hit the whole body:

A Deep Squat or Deep Deadlift variation
An Olympic movement variation (Power Cleans or Power Snatches)
Sternum Chin-Ups
A parallel or underhand-grip Row variation
A Bench Press Variation
A Standing Overhead Press Variation

From a set of foundation movements covering the whole body like this, you can add in additional exercises to meet your own individual time under tension needs.

Dont really follow you bro, there is far more then just one way to train. Litterally thousands of good routines out there.

As to what else you can do other than benches and curls??????

Maybe I'm not understanding your question. R U only doing benches and curls? If so you should NOT use gear until you learn how to train....and eat for that matter.

But like I said maybe I am missing the point of your question.

If you are looking for a list of compound movements per BP it would be one hell of a list.

The 2 most important would be squats and deads of course.

After that you would have:
Chins
Dips
Power cleans
T-bar rows
Barbell rows
Leg Press
Stiff deads
etc
etc.....

i used to do 3*6 for bulking and worked fine..there is no reason 5*5 would not work for it, and i am doing this on my test/dbol cycle i started today...

..just gauge your weight increases as you go...you should be able to increase in weight more then you would while off, but dont jump to much every week..imo...
