PCT is for Quitters
Where do you all dispose your needles? I have a five gallon bucket full of needles that I need to get rid of. I'm in cali if that makes any difference

Check the internet for disposal in your area. Where I live, the county web site says to put them in a 2 liter bottle, tape it shut, label it as sharps and put it out with the trash. If I lived about 5 miles down the road, I would have to take them to a drop off center, I mean if I wanted to follow the law.

Yeah I thought about dropping them off at the fire station but don't want to be looked at funny or get asked questions. I will look online too. Thanks ppl

No one will look at you funny. you're doing the right thing by not tossing them in the trash. Tons of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) patients do this.

This depends on your city's laws by the way. Where I live, as long as it is in a puncture-proof container and labeled properly it can be disposed of in the trash. I purchase the $5 dollar sharps containers from Walmart and toss em in the dumpster after I seal the lid. Just an FYI. ;)

Edit: I figured I'd paste what my city has to say for guidelines:
  • Place all needles and syringes in a secured puncture proof plastic container with a screw-on lid (for example: a rigid detergent, bleach or fabric softener bottle).
  • Clearly label the container “NON-RECYCLABLE” and dispose of it in your trash container.
  • Once filled to no more than 2 inches from the top, tightly secure the lid and reinforce with duct tape.
  • Place the container into your trash; do not place this container in with your other recyclables.

From my local web site:

Although it is the least preferred option, it is still legal in XXXX County outside (XXCityXX) to place sharps in a two-liter pop bottle and dispose the bottle in your garbage can. The bottle must be marked, "SHARPS - DO NOT RECYCLE." Two-liter pop bottles have been shown not to crack or break open as often as other containers. This option poses a risk of puncture to solid waste workers. Both the federal Centers for Disease Control and the federal Environmental Protection Agency no longer support this method as preferred due to the risk to solid waste workers.

lol ok I can see including kids as not funny, sorry bout that..... I always get those containers from pharmacies but I always forget them and ex's houses... but I think you just bring them back to the pharmacy

Oh, no I wasn't complaining about your post. My post had to do with burying them in a sand box, but I just couldn't do it, so I edited it out.

o lol ok I was wondering why you kept saying " I take it back" I didn't see anything wrong with your post (didn't see the sandbox part) so I assumed it was me :p

It was only up for like a minute, then I had to go back and edit it.
