Where to go.

First off, thanks for reading, I'm starting to feel like the only person on earth that's having hormonal issues, and this is the best forum that I've come across.

I'm 47, been on Cialis for 4 years, 215 lbs and 6'2", pretty active. I'm always tired, like 1 hr after waking up on a Saturday morning, and wanting to go to sleep tired. I went to my annual physical and the Dr said that my thyroid was out of wack. So did a bunch of blood work. TSH was OK, but testosterone FSH and LH were low. thyroid is fine. But an MRI revealed some cysts, one of them is inside of my pituitary gland. So I went to an awesome neurosurgeon who says I'm fine for now, to see him every year, and asks why I'm not on T yet. I said he was first a Endocrinologist is next. He tries to set up an appointment but everybody was booked for 6-7 weeks, he said that's way too long. Anyways I was able to get into another endo, he does blood work (early, but after coffee with cream and sugar, and a super big workout the day before) and my T went to 440 from 288. He says I'm perfectly normal. I felt good leaving (kind of), so I went home on a Friday afternoon and slept for 3 hours because I was tired. I also had my vision checked normal at a eye Dr. Now I have a checkup coming from my Dr. so he can come up to speed on my condition.

I have every single symptom of low T, and I can't even tell you how much hair I'm loosing everyday. Like from head to toes. I'm also slightly broken out from my upper chest to the top of my head. And nearly half my eyebrows are gone. For 4 years the only time I get morning wood (or any wood) is if I had Cialis the day before. I have great insurance, and super general Dr., but still I feel like crap.

How in the world do I get help? My Dr. doesn't know too much about HRT. or what I need or how much. Is there some secret place that I can find a Dr. who completely understands male hormones?

Zeek, thank you for your reply. I think my estrogen levels a little high too, because I'm teary eyed just thinking that somebody cares, I'm not alone, and there's hope. But I cry for every chick flick, so that's normal. LOL

We are close in age so I take a special interest in other old coots :chimney: J/K I'm older than you are actually.

Anyway you are displaying signs of low T and higher than normal estrogen. All that can be fixed within a couple of weeks!

The guys that are with chip have a strong support network, like a band of brothers. I've got one last big cycle in my future and I'll be joining you guys since I refuse to go through life with low levels also!

Once your test levels get fixed, your energy shoots up you will find something you hav not had since you were 18! an insane sex drive lol

You can come hang out with me and DADAWG down in the Big Ole tittie thread we have going at that time lol

Thanks guys. Seriously, thank you. I just received this...

Thank You for Registering with Maximus HRT

And yes I've been wasting a lot of time. About 3 months so far, and have a primary Dr visit this Wednesday. I guess I'll be requesting more blood work. It's always hurry, wait, nothing. I hate feeling like crap. I didn't even go into the details of how I feel. My Dr. asked me if I was depressed, I said no. I'm not depressed, I just don't give a shit. I could get hit by a bus, and wouldn't care (just for my family's sake I would care). But I don't ponder bad thoughts either. And the last thing I need is anything that could make my ED any worse. I can't concentrate nearly as well as I used to. Confidence, what's that? Hell, I'm even moody, and get hot flashes.

Just so you know, you have really raised my expectations. If this guy is as good as you say, it's no wonder he has a tight group.

You are a good man Frustrated! hang in there just a little while longer and you will see the difference coming your way. Your attitude will change, you will walk different, head up! a ready to take on whatever attitude.

In the end we are really just animals and our hormones or lack there of control so many aspects of who we are and how we feel.

Don't go tossing those cialis away though! boosted test levels + cialis = monster in the bedroom :P

I'm younger than you, Frustrated, but I can tell you that stumbling onto Chip and Maximus is one of the best things that has happened to me. I'm only about 6 weeks into my treatment, and I know that there's a long way to go before I get completely dialed in, but I can certainly tell a difference. My levels weren't as low as some of the guys on this board, but I'm only 26. Chip was kind enough to look at my levels and noticed right off the bat that there were issues, and that God for that. Chip'll do ya right.

Frustrated these are the tests that you want :

The ability to view these panel's independently will significantly improve our ability to get you "dialed in" as quickly as possible. So now, your standard blood work will consist of:

Total testosterone
free testosterone
total estrogens
e1 (estrone)
e2 (estradiol)
e3 (estriol)
cbc
cmp
tsh
psa
shbg

THANKS, AS ALWAYS FOR ALL THE GREAT PROPS, GUYS..... AND ANIMALS (ZEEK!) PEOPLE ALWAYS WONDER,"WHAT CAN I DO TO REACH OUT AND HELP SOMEONE ELSE", AND WITHOUT EVEN TAKING CREDIT FOR IT, ITS ALL YOU GUYS ON THIS FORUM THAT DIRECT NEW MEMBERS OF THE BROTHERHOOD TO ME. YOU ARE HELPING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE EACH DAY THAT LOG ON HERE AND READ THESE THREADS. YOU ARE LETTING THEM KNOW EXACTLY WHERE THEY NEED TO GO TO FIX THE PROBLEM THAT WE HAVE ALL AND ALWAYS WILL FACE... "LOW T". THANKS GUYS, FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!! :yesway:

As I mentioned, I have excellent insurance, and bad Dr's. So I'm calling every pharmacy in the area, and Endo, and Dr.'s. I give them all about the same question, who knows anything about Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), not just TRT. Seems simple right. Well I could get a compounding specialist AKA aging Dr. (read expensive) And that's the extent of it. So I ask one Dr. a simple question. How do you control the Estrogen, especially because I'm already high. I'm told it's simple, just with a lower dosage of T. Now think about how stupid this sounds. So does this mean I should reduce my T. I'm at 288 now not yet on T, with estrogen high enough to make my nips sensitive. Thanks God the nips only happens on occasion.

I'm starting to get more and more respect for Chip and his ability to get you guys dialed in. I'm really getting tired of this BS, and I feel like crap. I can barely make it through the day. Today was really bad, and coffee by the truck load isn't working at all. I'm so close to just saying Fk the insurance and just go with Chip.

Dude chip is NOT expensive. I think you may be thinking that you are paying the said amount of an example protocol in your email at EVERY 4 WEEKS. That is VERY incorrect. It eventually averages around a cellphone bill monthly. CAN EVEN BE WAY CHEAPER BASED ON YOUR NEEDS! It is so fucking cheap man. You are wasting time with all the bullshit you are going through. You have a better chance of winning the lottery, simultaneously being struck by lighting, while fucking judge Judy in the pooper than finding a doctor who will be sympathetic to your health. Actually that was all bullshit, because you just stumbled onto a fucking diamond mine, This forum, even though it is public, is a huge fucking secret. You were brought here for a reason. BUT you have to make that first step! This is the sanctuary of Chip and he is here to offer you another shot at your youth, or the youth you missed out on. I know it may be hard to "TRUST" people on an online forum, but you need to. I do not think your symptom are as bad as you say, i think you are normal. I bet you are lying and feel really damn good in the morning. There is no way you have no energy. Because if these things I say arnt true, you would have ALREADY applied for REAL help, PROVE ME WRONG!

Sorry it took so long to reply, I had to take a power nap from all the writing I did. Or maybe it was my excess energy, made me feel sleepy.

So how did you like the part less T is how you control estrogen. These docs are genius.

shit why not just run a 0 t level then you'll have 0 estrogen problems. who needs to get out of bed anyway. people did that shit 200 years ago before welfare existed.

That's a great idea. When I'm up, I want to go to bed anyways. I bet at zero I wouldn't even want to get out of bed. I should have told that to the doc.

I'm pretty sure you need T to live. Who knows. I know I don't want double digits like some have had. I can't even imagine how bad that really is.

How much caffeine do you drink per day? Sounds like adrenal fatigue to me. Although, I also had your symptoms. My T was not bad but E2 and SHBG were very high. I am 4 weeks in with Chip and haven't felt this good in 15 years!!!!

Well here's an update. I talked with my wife and we are both tired of this shit, and run around. She doesn't understand why it's been so difficult locally. I had my PCP fill out Chips form and fax it to him (I hope you got it Chip, but I have the original just in case). I also had my PCP to fill out a prescription for blood work for all items listed above. I also have an appointment to have the blood work drawn tomorrow morning from Labcorp.

So I need a avatar that says "very soon Powered by MAXIMUS"

So tell me... what does it feel like to be "dialed in"?
