I found a place today were i can buy my chicken and fish fillets in bulK. And i forgot what kind of fish the guy said it was but it is a white fish. And im one of those guys that like to defrost something and cook it real quick. So does any one have any ways to cook fish fillets on top of the stove or any fast ways to cook fish?

Put it in a foil pouch with some salt, pepper, garlic and sliced lemon, a little EVOO or non-stick spray on foil to keep from sticking. I add butter to mine but I'm sure that is not in your diet.

EDIT: Should cook it for 3-4 minutes each side (just flip pouch over) depending on thickness.

oven 425degs for 11 min will cook just about any fish fillet properly. One of the fastest easy to cook meals I eat. Just test that it flakes apart with a fork its done.

Thanks sassy and phat... i bought like 50 fillets today lol. so ill be trying out both of your ways for sure. I just like fish some much and have to start cutting back from my new york meals. But once again thank you both for your advice.

YW.

I also make fish tacos with white fish. Not sure if you can eat tortillas or not but cutting up some onion, cabbage and cilantro and throwing it on top is good. Really good! lol

Yes this sounds good as heck since i love cilantro on every thing i eat lol. I can eat tortillas for now. I eat way to many steaks thoy its bad lol. Im trying to sub some of them out with fish fillets.

Yeah they are melt in your mouth good! Just be sure to heat up the tortillas right before so they don't crack down the middle. (wrap in damp paper towel and throw in micro for 5-10 seconds) right before putting fish on them. I have made this many times and my son and ex used to die for them. Super easy and quick.

Sounds so good. Im def buying some tortillas when i go to the store next....

I believe so but they are prob flour and won't be nearly as compatible taste wise with the fish.... I am pretty sure there is tho. Also make sure to use cabbage and slice into thin strips, NOT lettuce! The lettuce will wilt easily and not give you the crunch.

so corn tortillas, cabbage, celantro*,salt, pepper, fish cut into sliced into strips and wrap the bad boys up and there g2g. i think i like thise idea for sure!

Don't forget to thinly slice lemon and sit it on top of the fish before wrapping it in a foil pouch!

Good luck, let me know how they end up!

I have tons of recipes for you guys! 3J will have to tell ya if they fit into your diet requirements though. I know some pretty healthy recipes though. I love to cook. 3J-Turkey Breast Cutlet (Armenian Style)? haha ;)
