Hi,
My problem is high TSH. I believe this to be the culprit of my low testosterone levels.
I started medicating for it about a year back and quickly doubled my total testosterone and tripled my free testosterone.
However, I still got a way to go and there is no way for me to get my numbers down any further.
This was my last result:
TSH = 2.03 (ref range: 0.27 - 4.2)
Free T4 = 22.7 (ref range: 12.0 - 22.0)
Free T3 = 5.6 (ref range: 3.1 - 6.8)
Prolactin = 323 (ref range: 86 - 324)
I'm down to only 25mg a day of Levothyroxine right now, and still my T4 is above reference range
(cut down from 75mg where my T4 was at 28!).
Why is my TSH still so high? I have high T4 and T3, but I'm still hypothyroid.
I'm supplementing with P5P/B6 + Vitamin E for my high Prolactin. Last time I had 380 there, so it's going down.
But I want my TSH to be between 0.5 - 1, as this was supposed to be optimal.
What to do?
