A higher bodyfat causes you to aromatize easier. Aromatization is the act of your body converting testosterone to estrogen. More aromatization will mean your blood testosterone level will be lower which means less gains.
Well from what I can see your diet and training is in check. Lol.I'd also say that if you're bf is above 20 percent before cycling you probably don't have your diet and training in check enough and should focus on that first. Unless your a competitive powerlifter or something and don't care about your bf levels.

I knew a guy in high school (i know, i know) that was huge. Like barely shy of 300, round as a beach ball. He did a cycle of test and lost a bunch of fat and his maxes in the weight room sky rocketed. I don't know what his diet was, but I can say that we drank a couple 12 packs on almost every weekend.
Maybe he was a freak of nature, idk.

Most will tell you to cut down before cycling if you are around 18-20 percent or higher. Yes, you can lower body fat or gain mass on test e depending on your diet mostly. You can lower body fat without cycling with diet too and this would be the better option before cycling if your bf is higher.
