Working out & Cardio in the same day

Hey guys.

After you workout and you hit the tredmill / olyptical, would your body break down the muscle that you worked even more? And if so, would it prevent your muscle from growing to its full potential?

I do them both in the same day all the time, 2-3x a week. I'll wake up and do cardio on an empty stomach then get 2 meals in me and then go lift.
 
Alright cool.

The only thing about running before working out is that I'm afraid I'll be too tired to even do much.

no do your cardio after weights ro better yet do cardio on your off days from lifting as most likely you should only be lifting weights 3-4 days per week for optimla results

Happened to me. That's why i do half and half. I'll do 20 minuites of HIIT training, go Lift, then Come home and run about 2 miles.
 
Try hitting up cardio on your off days.

If you do cardio after a workout, try and drink a protein shake or something (unless you are trying to cut)

shit, if I did 20 mins of cardio first, it would seriously fuck my workout
