Workout more frequently on cycle?

Hey,

Can you train more frequently when cycling? You recover a lot quicker.

So instead of having arm day once a week, double it up?

Yes you can but same rules still apply as off cycle. You have to be sure you are recovering, and getting the proper amounts of rest / nutrition. Simply thinking I'm on cycle so I can go ape ish in the gym will lead to injuries if you don't exercise a bit of common sense and control.

You are the man. Thanks.

Damn straight, listen to your body though. I only generally take friday off when im on cycle. I hit my legs twice a week and everything else once.

If I need an extra day or two or three off Ill take them, but I know my body and I dont feel I need much time off when I cycle. I dont subscribe to the extreme over training hype, when you are on crank you kind of have to over train to get the full benefit.

Always listen to your body!

When I'm on cycle I workout 7 days a week, off cycle I do 6 days a week though. However I am also 32, get 1 massage and take 2 epsom salt baths every week. Listen to your body and don't workout if you feel you need the rest or everything is sore.

What benefits have you experienced from the Epsom salt baths?

If I were to listen to my body while using tren (which I am), I'd be in the gym 2x a day and 4 hours each time.
Isn't that the truth! Man, I can only imagine what trouble I'd cause myself if I listened to that little voice screaming, "TIME IS BURNING GO LIFT MORE! MOOOREEEE!". It doesn't help that it's yoga pant/short-shorts season where I live, giving me extra incentive to head down to the gym!

great topic. have worked out for quite some time and no my body well. have also done a few cycles ie-test only, test/deca ect. this time on test/tren a i 've actually had to modify my work outs. stay sore for days! crazy but either i'm not recouping as quick or just outright blasting my muscle groups. crazy.

as menyioned above it depend on your body how it recovers .on gear the recovery time decreases(i.e u can recover faster) but it doent mean u cant overtrain it all comes to your body mechanism and the nutrition . you need to listen and know your body how it ll react to diff splits . i do two day split 1.5 hr session twice a day and i can recover very well
