Quick back log of my story:
After recent bloodwork I was put on HRT by my GP. Put on Androgel 5 weeks ago for low libido, energy, ED, ect... started to feel good but eventually it kind of fell off and I am always tired. Did my research and discovered that this was not the most effective (or safest) way to go about testosterone therapy.
After telling my GP I would like to be put on HRT with a more sophisticated run of meds for support he referred me to a urologist. I met with him today and he brought in a needle of 400mg of testosterone and said he would inject me 1/month! I was a prick to him and asked him if he was crazy and he said it was standard protocol. He said they would check my bloodwork after a couple months and see how I was. What a great rollercoaster summer that would have been. Shocked me especially coming from a specialist.
I am now inquiring on some HRT protocols and companies. Thanks for the vent, these guys just piss me off sometimes.
