Meh, Don't really care.

If someone really wants to track me down and come find me, then fucking COME AT ME BRO!

Easy brah, it's volume training week. I'm exhausted. No tomfoolery for you tonight, young man.

Anyway, lets talk more about my new car.

97 WS6 LT1 Formula Firebird.

Bout 380-400hp. 63,xxx miles.

It's my first manual. The guy I traded my old car to sort of taught me how to drive before we traded, but I really just picked it up this morning.

This thing is ungodly fast, though.

The guy I got it from said he stomped an 11' Cobra :D

And, as a bonus, Complete Rockford Fosgate system. Two 12" subs, Amp, capacitor.

Yeah, but this is my first car I would consider fast. I've had classics and conventional cars, but this one has balls.

It's modded out to the extent that pretty much all I can do is supercharge it.

I've always liked that body style, hard to believe its already been 10 years since they stopped making them. I remember when they were new.

Yeah, me too man. My neighbor had one when I was growing up. Bought it brand new in 97. I always wanted one.

It was crazy, too, that the guy I got it from wanted exactly what I had. So we traded straight across.

You should be happy with it. Very glad you got a T-56 manual as the autos are like having sex with no orgasm. LT1 engine technology is just fine no matter who says the LS series is better. Look out for the optispark as it was the only real downside to those engines.

Don't S/C or turbo unless you want to go internal to the engine. Boost is very tough on those stock engines unless interally set up to take it.

Need any help, glad to give it. I have turned 2 LT1's into 383's. Know those engines in and out. Currently have one in my RX-7 and had a 95 Firehawk for years...still miss that car.

What did the owner do to get 380 HP? is that RWHP or flywheel?

Damn, good stuff, bro. Repped.

And not sure exactly on the HP. He hasn't given me all the receipts and stuff yet. But he told me SLP loudmouth exhaust, MAC longtube headers, some kind of performance tune, Lunati Cam. Either 4.10 or 4.11 gears, I can't remember which.

Also has a stage 2 clutch.

If that is the setup, you are probably putting down north of 320 RWHP with a good tune. So, 380-400 flywheel is probably not that far off. The only sad thing about that year is it is an OBD II car. A lot of people convert to the 95 OBD I computer so they can tune. The 96-97 year was just forgotten when it came to aftermarket tuning software. Much to learn.

Smart man to do a clutch upgrade. Hehe, I burned up my stock clutch in 1 weekend of road racing but I am putting out 425+ RWHP so the clutch fried!

Get onto www.camaroz228.com. That is the best site for F-body LT1's. I am 95Blackhawk on that site.

What else could I modify? One thing I know stock is the intake manifold. Also, what oil weight do you run?
