I've never personally but have researched it and known folks who have. It's a new twist on the High protein/low carb diet plans... much like Adkins and South Beach Diet. Out of all three, I would recommend the south beach plan. Adkins is the worst. Zone is probably somewhere in the middle. As a athlete or trainer/weightlifter, You want something that can be adaptable, easy to work with, and able to stay on for a lifetime. South beach has that and has interchangable phases whether you are cutting, maintaining or bulking.
