for 10 on leg press today.

we figured the total after we were done, 2 guys on the press, 24 plates, plus the weight of the press itself.

me and another guy did it, he got it for more than i did.

i did however hurt something in the back of my calf area. the press started forcing me out , shifting the weight to other points of my legs for the last few.

i have pain right at the base of my calf muscle, will see how it feels tomorrow

Christ, you are a strong fuck. You need to compete in a powerlifting contest.

Hey JCP2, you are right he is strong. But I don't think leg press is done in powerlifting. The true measure in strength and power is the dead. Oh, by the way if I put 24 plates on the leg press and tried it, the results would probably be hernia and a trip to the hospital and would never lift again.

Ask him his box squat numbers, and his bench press numbers, and remember he doesn't train for strength. He also doesn't use a shirt, since i know him from the boards for a while i feel pretty confident that he could do pretty well in a powerlifting meet if he trained for it. I completely understand that the leg press is not a measure of strength, sorry if my comments were misunderstood.

charles009, thats just the way i train bro, heavy

i box squat 600 plus
dead 500 plus
my bench

well i dont like to bench, i do dumbells most of the time 150lbs for sets, 465 lbs is the most i ever benched.

i am sure if i trained to powerlift, i could up those numbers, but this is just the way i train

my feeling is if you can push the weight for numbers 10 or more , why not do it.

i am slowly getting myself away from the heavy stuff, would really like to sculp myself more, but it is fun to do once in a while

one of the guys i train with use to compete in powerlifting, he made them look easy at that weight. i worked for them trust me lol

my buddy would still be competeing but some asshole some years back stuck him in the stomach, so now he has a mesh type setup holding everything together.

so he has to watch how much pressure he puts on himself when lifting.
