Last day of the 3rd week.

Rest day.
Well, sort of. Housework, groceries, laundry and a cooking marathon.
Hella is nuts for pumps sometimes. Today I got rock hard arms from putting away groceries. LMAO
Can't say I've ever experienced that before.

I am virtually sides free. Only thing noticeable, is that my balls aren't as full as usual.
Don't think they shrank a hell of a lot, but they are different, for sure.
No lethargy, no acne, no BP issues (that I can tell). Unfortunately, no aggression either. Was kinda looking forward to that honestly.
Weight is up, although not much. Next week, more Hella, more joint support, more taurine and most importantly - more cals.

Excited about the second half of this journey.
Let's see what happens.

Visually, I am quite pleased. My arms are a lot fuller, my delts are a lot more pronounced and my trapecious stick out like they never have before.
My quads have gained quite a bit as well. As far as mass goes, probably most of all.
I am too fat to assess my abs and calves, but I bet there has been progress there as well.

Good, so I consider myself still on track.
I knew that my weight gain wasn't going to be linear, but still. Being that it's my first cycle, it's very unnerving.

Today was chest day and the WO went freakin' phenomenal!!!
Weights up on every set. Every, freaking set.
Love it.

Fun story:
Yesterday I had a moment of weakness and had 5 pieces of sour cola gummy candy.
They weren't exactly new, so they were though as fuck.
After the 5th piece I was done, because of a) guilt and b) my jaw muscles were so pumped, I was dying! LMAO.
That's hella for you, right there. Haha

haha thats funny, the pumps are so weird. Like you said, taking in groceries, you start putting them away and your shoulders, arm, forearm are soo pumped...I loved it.

As long as youre making gains and improving I wouldnt be too caught up in the weight gain, youve still put on 7+lbs, nothing wrong with that
 
Yeah, scales and tape measures don't really catch all the changes in your physique, for sure.
I am happy the way things are going, no doubt.
Can't wait to see where I end up when it's all said and done though.

Already planning cycle 2, so.... Consider me hooked. haha
 
Day 23

Back.

Great WO... or so I thought.

Woke up this morning (day 24), put on the Forma and -W.T.F - I felt a lump the size of a blueberry on my forearm.
Not a doc, but pretty sure I tore a muscle fibre strand. FUCK!
Pressure on it, to the office, to the nurse, got an appointment for an xray later today to make sure the joint / tendons are ok.

Not sure where to go from here.

Will consult with 3J once I have a diagnosis from the doc.

Again - FUCK!
 
Any verdict yet? you sure it wasnt a muscle cramp or spasm? I get them real bad in random places, arm, leg, throat, foot. It will be so painful and literally swell to the size of a baseball for 5 or so minutes then go away
 
Back from the "doctor".
Here is what I am seeing on my arm.
I have a hematoma (which spell check wants to correct to Tomato! LMAO) on my left arm. The center of which hurts when pressed on.
No restriction in motion or severe pain.
This morning, prior to applying pressure to it, the hematoma was less developed, but there was a hard knot the size of a blueberry visually protruding out of my arm.
I saw it and felt it. All that is a clear indication, that I tore a few muscle fibers.
To top it all off, the xray showed a slight bump in my muscle under the skin / fat in the exact location the bump appeared this morning.

So yeah, it's a torn muscle fiber strand.

Sucks, but is what it is.

According to the mexican "doctor", I aggravated my tendons and that's why they are "inflamed".
Sure... Jackass.
Don't get me wrong, an anti-inflammatory won't hurt and I will use it, but that doesn't change the fact his diagnosis is wrong IMHO.

So, sent all that info to the master, we'll see what the verdict is.
My thoughts: Hit the gym and take it easy on bench and deads...

haha. Will skip shoulders today and arms Saturday. Tomorrow is leg day, so no excuses there.

Just for fun, here's the xray that (imho) clearly shows something is up with my brachio-radialis.

//edit: On the bright side - BP 113 / 78. Not bad for a fat guy on hella!

Day 25

Legs.

Good WO. Took it easy on my arm and did calf raises and squats with machines instead of free weight, just to play it safe.
Non the less, legs are done for the day and I could barely walk. LOL
 
Day 26

Arms - Canceled.

The knot in my muscle is clearly visible right now.
No point in going to the gym and making it worse...
Will look at my lifting routine and figure out a way to train next week, without screwing up my arm even more.

Am using alcohol / menthol spray to cool it and Voltaren creme with a pressure bandage over night to help with the healing.

Also, I picked up a joint support brace to help with hitting the gym in the coming weeks.
Gains are coming in nicely and stopping is not an option. Just gotta make sure I play it smart.

FYI - Got me some flavor mix from Premium Powders to help with my taurine intake.
Chose Watermelon and am happy with what I got.
Also, more forma and a tub of noxipro.
Can't wait for next week to see if this stuff in combination with hella gives me those ultra violent pumps. :D

Arm isn't hurting much, but the hematoma and the knot are not pretty. LOL

For me personally 10g seems to do the trick.

I used 5g while on 75 and 100 mg hella, but upped it to 10g once I started running 125mg.
Had some noticeable back pumps while on 5g, but now on 10, they are completely gone.
I drink my Taurine with breakfast.

Day 28

Rest / Cooking / WO planning around my injury

Will touch base with the master today to plan my next 2 weeks' WO routines.
Based on what I have seen, the upper forearm muscle is mainly utilized in pull excersises and when stabilizing weight while your knuckles are pointing up.
So I think I'll make chest day fly day and do all my shoulder stuff with the knuckles down. That should work.
Also, no deads on back day, just back press and fill the spots of excersises I can't safely do with abs work. Leg day is not posing an issue anyway and by arm day (Saturday) I might just be good to go...
Definitely can't stop, because the gains are coming in nicely.
