Since I've been eating brown rice for the past 5 or so years...it's hard not to get sick of it.
Here is little recipe I came up with...easy and clean.
1 cup brown rice- DRY
2 cups frozen broccoli florettes
2 tablespoons EVOO
4-6 cloves of garlic (finely minced)
sea salt/ground black pepper to taste
Mrs. Dash Salt free extra spicey seasoning to taste
prepare brown rice as per package
steam frozen broccoli in small pot until almost cooked through
when broccoli is just about ready..add garlic and EVOO in a pan, heat for 1 minute. add broccoli, salt, pepper and mrs dash...allow broccoli to cook through. (should only be a few mins)
combine the broccoli mixture with the brown rice in a bowl. done.
