I'm 22 and my natural level is 387. No one is going to perscribe you anything until your at least 28 from what I have found.

I contacted 2 local doctors and 1 national service when I thought testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was way to go, but when you think about it you don't want to be on TRT. Yeah they prescribe you Test, but that shits expensive through them and your levels are most likely too high for your insurance to cover. If you want to be bigger or better, maybe start eating healthy (get on a diet plan) and when that stops taking you where you wanna be then go from there...

Hi Vinny,

You're only 21, so you need to ask yourself this....

How's this all going to work out for you if you live to 76 years of age?

This would mean you'd be on testosterone replacement for a massive
55 years.

That's quite a long time, don't you think?

Especially when you consider the fact that you're a tweak or two away
from testing out at 600 or 700.

I say this because boosting testosterone in your early 20's isn't that
difficult at all, if you have no major underlaying health conditions.

So why don't you try these things before you look any further into TRT....

-Get out in the sun and maximize vitamin D levels in your blood.

-Get to bed at a decent hour and get 8 solid hours of sleep every night.

-Limit alcohol consumption (alcohol abuse is the leading cause of testicular
atrophy in 20 somethings)

-Eat a clean diet high in fat soluble vitamins and low in refined carbs
and anti nutrients.

-If you've got an internet porn addiction, shut it down. And start having
your sex in the company of a real live woman.

And most importantly, get the endocrine disrupting chemicals out of your life....

Pay attention to your soap, shampoo, cologne, deodorant, and other personal
care items. And replace the toxic ones with items made from substances you
could eat, like olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter.

Also work to reduce your exposure to household cleaners, paints, gasoline,
chlorine and exhaust fumes.

Over exposure to these substances are likely at the root of your problem

You don't need to completely avoid all chemicals, just limit your exposure
enough so your testicles can kick in and start delivering the testosterone
your body needs.

This is the away you want to get it done Vinny.

It's takes a bit more work up front, but you'll be a healthier, happier
man if choose this route over the therapy.

Good luck

435 is on the lower end for your age but that is not testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) level low. I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) at 18 and that is only because my levels were <200 and it was seriously effecting me in negative ways.

That is not accurate.
Prescriptions are on an as needed basis and not an age basis. Any doctor that works differently, should not be dealt with.

Sure, based on age, they may not jump to put you on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) unless you have a significant issue but that's because they're looking out for your overall health.

We have people coming on here with one test of 450 and complaining of low T counts. Get multiple blood tests and have the blood work completed in the morning.

I'd venture that 90% of the people on this forum that "can't make gains" just need to fix their diets, training regimens, and sleep schedules or have to look themselves in the mirror and understand that they're just looking for a shortcut using hormones.

Yes i understand what you are saying but i have been training for multipe years on a routine that works. my senior year i weighed 119 pounds causei used to wrestle now i weigh 175 and have 10-12% body fat i know what im doin i bench over double my body weight im not a slugg in the gym by any means, i only want info on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) because ive been noticing a drop off in the bed and and overall well beeing a when i got my lab back and saw 435 i was concered cause they should be double that for my age. i did get my labs done at 11 in the mornign and fasted and everythig, im not a young quiter whos just trying to take the easy way out by bein on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) . i know there are men my age on it and it has changed there lives drasticly thats why im trying to get info on it.

It's tough to be in your spot with a 435 and wanting to be the best you can be...they don't go together in my mind.

especially with those levels, your only 100-200 points from being normal, but normal is not necesarrily normal for everybody. At your age and those numbers I wouldnt be messing around with something unless you have some serious need. I dont buy this arguement of trying to be superman or cant make gains in the gym. Everybody has a different plateau of what their body can handle. Sure if you want more than that, then there ways to do it some better than others, but IMVHO not a good idea however you try to present it.

You ned to check everything else in your life for starts. Sleep 7-9 hours a night every day of the week, alcohol and or recreational drug use. Other perscriptions drugs affecting you, mental disorders. Are you working out correctly and not burning yourself out, a good idea. Sex life, if you dont have one, try and get one, those do help. Look at good a good vitamin or something like vit b12, also vitamin d supps tend to help test. Also look at little things, soda intake, or are you waking up every day and having 2-3 monsters for breakfast, are you even eating breakfast? Look at snacks through out the day to boost your energy.

You may also get some blood work up for liver function, iron levels, and possibly STDs or hepatitus and OR HIV. You never know.

ive never fasted before a blood work for test and 11am is probably 2-3 hours late. How much that affects it IDK, but I am sure it does.

I think you have a point but really any legit doctor or clinic is not going to take a 21 year old on with 450-500 test levels. Specially like you said 90% of people on here can probably raise there levels a solid 100-250 points by changing a few things around.

But the real problem in the states is we have this addiction to drugs and it being a cure for everything. Drug companies and doctors alike to sell and continually keep people on pills and what not. Dont get me wrong a lot of it is needed and people would otherwise die. But all to often were concerned with treating the system with a pill, instead of treating the problem. Problem wit that is doctors wouldnt have a life long customer.

from the studies I've seen, at his age, it should be about double that figure - not just 100 - 200.

average for less than 25 is around 700. So the kid is not that far away. Just by taking the test 2-3 hours earlier and not fasting, plus change a few lifestyle changes hes probably right there so yes hes probably only a 1-200 points off. Around 700 is average, which means there are some that lower and higher and doesnt mean if your lower you will automatically feel like crap.
Fact of the matter is I dont think legitimately a doctor is going treat somebody at that age with those numbers. So I think focusing on natural changes is probably the best bet.

Good advice

You are right on. I have several articles and case studies to show that minimum Clomid (25 to 12.5 mg) will increase natural T. My HPTA is shut down, but I have followed it exatly. I was at a test of 100 and my last readng was 381. I am expecting better on my next test.
