24y.o. Just got blood work results in.........

Gfunkmanilla

New member
Age 24.

Had intense chemo at age 18
Pulmonary fibrosis.

Done one cycle 3 years ago test e 500mg/week. Proper pct. Nolva/clomid.

Just called dr office and they said free test was 7.3 normal being 9-26.
Total test 536. Normal 348-1100

Dr left note saying levels are low, but he doesn't warrant medication due to side effects........

What should my levels be at my age, and how can I convince him to consider any options on helping my levels get to optimal range? I plan on cycling more, and have done a lot of research . Realizing TRT is a huge commitment, I feel that I am willing, and it also will be beneficial to my quality of life/ also legal aspect........ Any suggestions???

Have follow up appt with him in a few weeks for other issues, so hoping talking face to face with some good information to bring to him might help in obtaining help

Your TT is pretty close to normal, which is about 600 for your age. Did you get your blood work done first thing in the morning?

Doesn't look like you need TRT to me.

Just curious like I said I'm shooting for optimal. I also always thought your free test was the important number to worry about. But maybe I'm mistaken? Either way if you agree with doc. Then I have to run with it. I just wanted a second opinion through you guys to see what y'all think. Anyone else has any input feel free, and thank you megaton for the sticky, I overlooked that before posting..... All apologies

Make sure you are getting plenty of good quality sleep. Eat well. Clean up your lifestyle. Exercise. All those things can boost you natty test levels.
