28 Yr . Old - Test Results - Where do I stand?

Everythin looks pretty good.

The slightly elevated BUN are probably just dehydration. Increasing water intake lowers this.
The abnormal keytones (if i remember correctly) can show up when fasting. The body is using fat as its source of energy. Or if you are eating ketogenic (no carbs).

There was no free testosterone or oestradiol either which can tell you a bit more.

Is there specific concerns?

I forgot the 5th screenshot which has free T and estradiol. I noticed my total T was 421 and thought that was abnormal for my age. My blood draw was at 11AM not sure if that is a big deal.

Your Total T is low for your age. It could be related to the low vitamin D. You need to get the vitamin D up for sure.

421 seems decent to most, but the range is 348-1147 so your bottom of the barrel.

I was surprised to see vitamin D that low with the surfing twice a week.

That comes from heavy duty waterproof sunscreen use. The water is cold where I surf here in California so I need to wear a full wetsuit most of the year. It just got warm enough to wear a short springsuit.

Right now I'm supplementing with 5,000 units of Vitamin D daily too see if I can drive it back up.

Do you have any symptoms? This is probably the biggest factor while looking for low test alongside multiple blood tests.

It would be worth having a 2nd testosterone test in say a couple of weeks to confirm. Its normal for testosterone to fluctuate up to 60% during any 2 different tests.

Did you get cortisol levels checked? Cortisol plays an antogonistic role with testosterone.

The earlier the better for testing T levels.

Symptoms? Well to be honest, it's tough to figure out if my symptoms are of normal aging, hormonal issues or both. Last year I came off several months of drinking heavily, smoking cigarettes, marijuana and traveling all over the world. Went cold turkey on all of it, and promptly had really broken sleep, night sweats, no morning wood and few ED issues here and there, nothing REALLY consistent. This was in mid-November and I took a basic test of my total testosterone in January which came in at 384.

I do take Melanotan 2, so it's tough to tell now because my erections are pretty good. When I'm on MT2, I almost always have ridiculous morning erections. A few months ago, when I was not on MT2, I noticed I didn't get a lot of morning erections. Libido wise, it seems to fluctuate here and there. I've had some soft erections with my girlfriend but I can't remember ever not being able to get it completely up. My ejaculate volume seemed a little low at times, which again, I wasn't sure what's normal. My biggest problem is I've had some penis sensitivity issues with condoms, like I will be able to bang for a long time and not blow, but that could be just using condoms (I do use the thinnest I can find though.)

Emotionally, I definitely feel a little more apathy then I seem to have before. I don't really have a big drive to go out and party like I used too, I would rather just chill at home. I do seem to be a little more anxiety about things. My sleep hasn't been all that great for the past few months, I typically never sleep through the night in one straight shot. I usually wake up at least once. Sometimes I wake up with headaches. During the day I will take naps sometimes when I watch TV.

Looking at my testosterone levels, they don't seem to be so clinically low to trash me, so I'm leaning more towards it's all in my head and normal aging. What do you guys think?

okay your T could be worse & libido sounds pretty good for your age

your mood sounds somewhat depressed and could be from hormones

but im hearing you stopped partying as much as you used to ... sometimes partying masks these mood symptoms ( self medication ) and there is adjustment now that you are more sober and not numbing the mood issues ... anyways not to play a shrink

on one hand you could benefit from mood improvement of Test but if i was in your position id try other more natural methods and supplements including vitamin D and see if that doesnt work first

and then consider going on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) maybe later in life ... are you planning on kids? - if so then wait

its not like your test is so low that its unbearable ... if your test were say 180 & you had ED and/or lack of sex drive & no motivation at all and felt chronic fatigue ... then id so go

but your out surfing and having sex .... you may wanna go natural for now

just my 2 cents brother
