3 Cypionate injections so far...and I feel bloated.

Started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) last week.
3 injections so far:

1--Tues-150mg
2-- Friday--150 mg
3-7 days later 150 mg
Next injection is due on Friday.

No others meds...no HCG no anastrozol.
Getting blood work done before next injection. MD says those results will determine if I need HCG or/ anas.

I feel bloated as hell.
My belly for some reason seems BIGGER. I dunno if it's water retention or what.
Suggestions?
Is the HCZ and/or anas going to help this in the future?
If so how long?

Hey mate, sorry for the off topic questions, but what made you start on TRT? How did u feel before it, how do u feel now?

Low quality erections.
So far I feel no different.
Nothing.
But I understand it could take some time.

It could be your Estrogen levels are elevated. Have you had any labs pre or post? And some people argue test is test, but some will say that cup bloats more than other types. And cyp will take 4-6 weeks to really kick in.

Good chance you have elevated estradiol due to aromatization. But you need your blood work back to see where you are at.

300mg of test per week is a really high testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose. Did your doc prescribe that dose?

Perhaps I worded my original post incorrectly.
The protocol I'm on is 150mg ONCE a week.
Due to a scheduling problem, my first dose was on a Tues-150mg
Second dose was three days later on Friday of another 150mg.
My third dose was seven days later of another 150 mg.
Not 300mg weekly...150 mg weekly.

My original and only blood work so far showed this:
Testosterone, Serum---264 ng/dl
Estradoil---21.0 pg/ml
Prostate -Specific Ag--0.5
Hemoglobin---14.6 g/dl

150mg a week sounds more like testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). :-)

Still a good chance that you could be aromatizing the test into estradiol. You will have to get blood work run again to know for sure if that is the problem. Otherwise we are basically guessing.

One thing that you could try in the meantime is splitting your 150mg dose into two injections. You would inject 75mg every 3.5 days instead. That often helps even guys levels out and reduce aromatization. I have found that it helps me. I inject Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Consider giving it a try.

I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground as far as this stuff goes but it sounds like you over did it the first week.

That's what I thought.

Yes---after this week when I get my blood work..regardless of what it shows, I'm going to split that dose.
I dont care if I have to drive to that clinic 4 times a week. This has to be RIGHT.

Thanks.

I'm thinking that if you plan to split your dose from now on, I'd wait one full week from your last 150mg injection then start your first 75mg shot every 3.5 days as suggested. I'd definitely get your E2 checked after you get smoothed out with your injections. From what I have read is that most docs start patients out on 100mg a week, not 150mg. Again though, I don't know diddly, still trying to sort myself out. Good luck bro.

Aren't you self-injecting? If not I would REALLY push (actually demand) to self-inject.

The clinic I go to wont allow it.
I would LOVE to though.
the mail order places are too expensive for me.

Demand it. There is no medical reason to not allow it. Hell, tell them your wife is a nurse and she will inject for you. They are just trying to milk you for more money.

Megatron is absolutely correct. He's taken you & your insurance for a ride! If you were a diabetic do you think you would have to visit him/her every time a shot is needed? That is one of many reasons why the cost of health care is so high. Best of luck.

X2!
Don't forget Dentists who are aware of your insurance coverage and order extra x rays on healthy teeth, they even drill on healthy teeth saying they are "cavities".
Worst scams are the physio places...

I pay cash for the injections.
It's 50$ a week--$200 monthly.
It includes HCG and Anastrozole if needed and UP TO 200 mg of Cyp weekly.
They don't take insurance, so it's not an option.

If I could find a reasonably priced place that would allow me to do it at home I would.
Even if it was mail order.

Give IMT - the board sponsor -- a call. They get great reviews and you can pin yourself.

I did call them.
They clearly are the best at what they do, but I simply cannot afford more than the $200 a month I'm already doing.

Sorry to call you out on this bro, but some of your above statements are wrong. Test really is test. Certain esters make up certain percentages of the molecule, (Cyp 31%, enanthate 29%, prop 20%) and once the ester is cleaved off all that is left is test. If you use a short ester like prop you will get more test per mg injected because the molecule has a shorter ester. If you inject 200 mg of prop you get about 160 mg of test vs 200 mgs of cyp gives you about 138 mgs of test. So in reality, on a mg per mg basis prop should make you hold more water due to more estrogen conversion. However, since most people use prop when cutting, as well of lower doses, it appears as if they are holding less water.

Lastly, steroids work as soon as you inject them. It may take a while to see their effects however they begin working as soon as they are freed from their esters in the body. The 4 week kick-in myth arose from people noticing visible changes after that period of time.

IMT? WHAT DOES IT USUALLY COST TO MAINTAIN testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) THROUGH IMT? I have called them and they haven't called me back yet?
