4 monthes expired

i got a batch of gear in, and all my m1t's are 4 monthes expired.
i have a great source, and i know he'll send up to date ones free of charge, but my question is, will 4 months make any real difference in the potency? might as well make use of them

From my understanding there are a lot of factors that can determine if the gear would have lost too much potency. How was it stored, etc. As far as expiration date my experience with meds is that the expiration dates are very aggressive where you can get a lot longer out of them before they are truly expired.
