5 9 185 BF ~<12. Workout days look like 255p/300c/65f. Never have really done a cut, so I am not familiar with carbs and dropping them. Looking just to maximize as much as I can in 4 weeks. Nothing drastic. Maybe someone can help me tweak my macros. Thanks. Should cardio be fasted? 5 times a week? What about Rest days? drop carbs completely? Running the rest of my superdrol for the remainder.

Meal 1:
3 eggs w 2 whites
1 cup of oats
4 oz cooked 93/7 ground beef

meal 2: (70p/45c)
5.5 oz cooked chicken
1/2 cup white rice
3 egg whites

meal 3: (94c/3p) Pre Workout
banana
naked drink smoothie (68carbs/2pro/0fat)

meal 4: (50p/68c) Post Workout
68g from Gatorade
50g protein shake

meal 5: (30p/64c)
tuna
3 oz pasta (i eat pasta because of the natural insulin spike 1 hr after workout, and its a slow digesting carb)

i'm looking for diet critiquing. not cycle critiquing please. I am trying to get started right away on these macros as my meals are coming up in the day.

I asked how much test you are running because it plays a huge role in how much of a deficit you can handle without catabolizing away your gainz, buuuuut.....

Best of luck; four weeks is pretty short for a cut.

oh okay, i will continue cutting, but i go away for vacation in 4 weeks. I have been at a deficit for about 4 weeks now already. And i am not currently running any test, but I am using an andro gel which has worked for me in the past with this.

Threadjacking to show snowpatrol123 some respect and ask a related cut question.

When running a test cycle and cutting, is the reason you can get away with a lower fat intake due to the fact you are getting exogenous hormones and thus you dont need dietary fats as much for your body to produce? This is what I speculatwd but wanted to check with someone who is knowledgable like yourself! Thanks brother

way too much from carbs bro... not an effective cutting diet at all... keep the oats in the morning, but for the rest of the day just meat and veg, no rice, no pasta... and kill the water, 6L and up per day

4 weeks is way to short to be effective, but it is what it is...

I'd prefer mrrippedzilla or 3J weighed in on this, to be honest, but I'll give my understanding (which I usually rate as "intermediate")

When it comes to cutting, unless you are extremely carb/fat sensitive the macro breakdown is less important than the overall deficit - fats help with satiety, as well as being necessary in a minimum dietary sense so you wouldn't want to drop them to zero, but their high caloric density makes them less desirable when it comes to cutting. Typically cut macros are protein > carbs > fat; but some people will swap fat and carbs in that equation if they are carb cycling, using keto methods, etc.

Hormones are important for cutting because as we get to low double digit, and single digit bodyfats, it becomes increasingly difficult to prevent catabolism with normal hormone levels. In the 300-500mg/wk test range, you can normally handle deficits in the 500-1000 calories/day range, which equates to a significant (1-2lb) loss per week, most of which should be fat.

For me at least, at or below 10% bodyfat, if I am 300 calories or more below maintenance I shed muscle > fat it seems; strength goes in the toilet and I'm pretty unhappy. EDIT: in the absence of hormones. WITH hormones...-750 calories, no catabolism.

This is the major factor. If successful you will be FLAT as all get out. The Q's on Test is relevant due to the point of going flat. This is a complete science............and OP be respectful, if you ask advice then be honest enough to answer a Q's like what you are running. Easy to just say it and pacify the Q's.

Now on another point, I disagree with the water in take. I a guy is dieting properly and DOING SOME aerobics then water in will be water out. It helps fluids holding fluids out. Been there n done that

thanks guys. easy enough. cut the carbs except on workout days ill have the pre workout shake, post workout shake, and a cup of rice. on rest days. ill cut out the pre workout shake from the newly advised diet. I am not really trying to cut drastically, just get abs a tad more visible. when I become flat, is this when I can have a cheat day to refeed?

workout days
265p/245c/80f

rest days
265p/80c/80f

look okay?
