40+ years old. Pct after 2 cycles while cruising in between.

Need some advise. I'm 42 years old just started running a test e/ EQ cycle. THis is my second cycle. My first was 10 weeks of 500 per week Sus. I chose to cruise rather that run a pct after my first cycle on test E because the test revitalized my relationship with my wife. Haha

Will I be able to get off gear at this point with full hpa recovery being 42 and having ran test for the better part of a year, or would I be better off cruising with some bio identical test under doc supervision.

I was thinking of running 500iu hcg/ wk during this cycle then running standard nolva/clomid and seeing if I can recover to normal levels. Or if it's work even trying at this point.
Any older lifters have any experience or advise?

I would get doc prescribed TRT and not waste your time with PCT... Im a couple years younger than you... but tried the same approach and it was a disaster.... got on TRT all better.

how much do you weigh, height, bf%?

I'm 42 years old. Ex cardio junkie. Lifted off and on over the years until injuries made me re-evaluate racing. Been a dedicated lifter for 5 years straight before my first cycle( not just off season lifting like in the past)
6'3"
208 lbs
12% body fat ( calipers) think I'm higher than that though. Getting dexa scan soon.
My lifts are not that strong. I'm still recovering from running long distance races. I'm trying to get my mobility back and form perfected before I try to deadlift or squat where I should be able to at this point in my athletic career.

theres no way to know unless you try but you definitely should try. dont sentence yourself to a life of hrt until its necessary. im in my early 40's, i recently was on for about 5 months. recovery was a bit slow but i recovered. its worth the attempt for sure.
