no.

while there is something to timing, IMHO the 45 minute thing is BS - they're just trying to sell faster protein delivery products and stuff = $$$$$ for them.

i believe there really is something to do with insulin sensitivity after working out and thats why you should do carbs and protein with minimal fat after workout (then after a while eat a normal meal). that could be the basis behind the "45 min window" but your body will be in absorb mode when you breakdown your muscles for a while after your workout.

your body also doesn't fully digest or absorb whole foods for a long time (relative to 45 min) after you eat.

a lot of misinformation and marketing schemes went into the "45 min window" IMO

though I'm sure 3J will correct all of my misinformation here as well. I've only studied the biology of nutrition for 6 months or so.

There is a window but 45 mins is not the answer. You need to replenish the muscle glycogen amongst others. IMO you should be getting the nutrients in asap.

If I don't use dextrose will it make me leaner? I have Also heard delaying the insulin response keeping carbs low after leads to the window staying open for a much longer time. Keeping it super sensitive and getting more out of it.

I have been using two cups of milk with my skip mix of whey egg and casien 3 scoops. I usually drink one half and then the other half like 30 min later.

I have about 2 shakes a day not induing chicken and steak. Is the 50-100 carbs a day low enough to get lean considering its coming from whole Milk? The milk makes my life much easier.

Just but a bunch of dextrose again but am not sure I wanna use it. It would mask the taste of the BCAA's I never used cause they tast like vomit but doubt it's worth it. Plus I'm afraid the BCAA's will displace other aminos needed for other functions.
What about dextrose and hydrolosized when or BCAA's during work out?
