47 and looking to start my first cycle

Hi folk's I'm 47 year's old and have never used steroids. I'm looking for advice on how to start.
I worked out a lot in my 20s but just got back into it about a year ago. Body fat was 35% but is now 20ish. I've made slow and steady progress and I'm struggling to get the 6 pack showing again. I keep my calorie intake at around 2000. I am 5'10" and 190 pounds down from 206. I've had blood work done and my T was low so waiting on my second test results this week from my doctor. I have a friend that suggested hgh and test injections.
Any feedback would be much appreciated. I would like to add some more bulk and lean out for the summer and at 47 I'm finding it a bit more difficult to hit my goal. I'm lifting heavy 3 to 4 times per week 1 - 2 muscle groups per work out. I'm a bit nervous about taking so I'm trying to get educated before I jump in.

If you are hypogonadal get that sorted out first. Get on TRT if you need to and get your protocol dialed in. You could consider a cycles afterwards. Doing one now though would jeopardize your chances of getting treated.

Even TRT, if you are hypogonadal, will go a long way in helping you achieve your goals.

What these guys have stated also I'd highly recommend picking up some cycle support to protect your liver if your considering orals Mr supps tudca is a solid supplement designed for this purpose cheers and happy cycling

Yes was wondering about that.... I will wait and see what my T results are this week. I'm just not sure how easy it is to get TRT in Ireland. This is also why I'm here because I was thinking about doing this on my own if I don't have any joy with the doc. I was told (bro science ) that it will be more expensive working with the doc to get TRT. Since I'm new and haven't read all the notes as recommended yet... any idea on cost of test-E? ... Sorry guys trying to provide the details while at work so need to pick this up afterwards

I am in the US.

I pay the full cost of my TRT. It is cheap though. 10ml of Test cyp dosed at 200mg/ml is $45. My prescription is for 200mg (or 1ml) per week. So I get 10 weeks for $45. I pay about $5 for 15 1mg Arimidex Pills. That is enough arimidex to last me 30 weeks. My doc won't prescribe hCG so I don't know off hand what that would cost.

I run blood work several times a year. Much more frequently when I first started TRT though. I would budget about $300 for blood work. And then half of that once you are dialed in.

I only go to the doc about once a year now to follow up on my TRT unless some complication comes up that I want to talk to him about. The doc visit ia the most expensive part. I think he runs about $250 per visit.

Anyway, my pointnis that once you get things set up it becomes really inexpensive.

Hey buddy... your doc WILL help you get started with TRT, but he may refer you to a urologist or endocrinologist first...

The common path for doctors in the EU to take is to start with Testogel sachets that you rub onto your skin, you need to persuade your doc to come off these ASAP as not only will your estrogen levels soar, the chances are extremely high that you can transfer this compound to your loved ones! Everyone is different, but absorption levels are poor with this gel - so you need to try and persuade him to switch you to Testosterone injections first.

Anyway, I digress...

Hold off on any cycles UNTIL you have addressed your low T levels...
Once you know what they are willing to do to help you - come back to the TRT section and research as much as you can.

I'm in the UK, and I found this forum extremely helpful and supportive when I started TRT.

Good luck with your appointment!

the best thing that can happen to you is a doc that understands hormones and puts you on trt when you actually need it.. be patient and wait to see what happens
