500mg vs 750mg of Test-E each week, feedback ?

So I know the extra 250mg will give me more strength gains, diet will provide the muscle. But if im cutting weight during this cycle, am i wasting the extra test? Should i just use the extra 250 to bulk then cut later?

I don't personally think it's worth it if you're on a drastic cut if you're not running catabolic ancillaries on top of the caloric deficit. The problem I personally have when I do that, is that if I'm running doses close to what I enjoy bulking with - I'm going to want to...bulk.

The one advantage I can think of is that the small extra edge you might gain in strength will help keep lifts somewhat consistent, which helps when it starts messing with your head. I know I get moody when I start depleting glycogen and my weights start coming down.

At least that's my take on it. Yeah, clear as mud haha. :wiggle:
 
Well, I cant top what HW just told ya. I'd say go with the lower dose myself. I seem to do best on my TRT dose of test for size & straight. To figure. Maybe because easy to manage...idk. Good luck brah!!

No need for the extra 250 mgs. If you are cutting there is really no need it will make it a little harder to control water and the Estrogen. But of course you can with the proper AI dose as you are aware.

IN my opinion it would be a waste for your cycle goal.

Unless you are an absolute mass monster, you don't need a whole amount of AAS to maintain muscle, although the more you use the more you can afford to further cut calories (to a point).

Firstly, I commend you on a sensible and progressive cycle history...

You've kept it basic and I'm sure results were great.

With regard to your original post - I can only reiterate what the other guys have said... 500mg is ample to retain muscle.

Last year when I suffered a bad injury and had an enforced spell on the sidelines so to speak - I took 500mg Test just to maintain the muscle I had =- this worked a treat - as when I could start rehabbing, it was like I had never been away from the gym.

I'm currently cutting for a show (12 weeks out) and I am still on longer esters - Test was originally at 1g per week but this will lower to 500mg before switching to Prop. I, like you wondered about dropping it, but I know from experience that 500mg will do just fine while the cutting compounds do their work.
