605pds wearing duct tape

I'm sure McGyver would have done the same thing if he were into powerlifting. That man also had one of the finest crafted beer bellies I've seen in quite some time. He certainly wins my respect.

Off the subject: At competitions like that do you always have to lower the bar at such a slow speed? I could have left and made a sandwich and he's still be decending

If you wear a really tight shirt, its going to come down slowly. Plus bar placement is pretty damn important, while not optimal that is how I lifted raw when I did maxes because I was injury prone otherwise. Unfortunately for a raw lifter this kills the stretch-reflex response.

I've posted this before, but you can observe below the damage a LOOSE fitting single ply poly shirt does to you. Now imagine a double ply that is 2.5" tighter, or even more (given 4 guys putting it on you, not one chick like in my case), cutting into you on the way down.

He's not lowring it that slow the shirt is. He's fighting the shirt. Trying to get it to touch.

Nice war marks mudge.

That's the name of the game.
