AAS and High Blood Pressure

I'm currently taking medicine for High Blood Pressure AND Cholesterol. Is there certain gear I should stay away from? Please don't say all.

I guess what I'm asking is, is there some that are much worse than others? I'd hate to have a heart attack.

Scotty, if you don't mind my unsolicited advice... please talk to your doc (seriously). Anything that will lead to water retention (most good AAS) will equate to high BP.
However, it has always been a moniker of mine to "enjoy in moderation".
That said (since I don't know your stats) Oxandrolone is considered by many to be the "safest" steroid around, even considered by those who have high bp like yourself. This may however be to mild a substance for your needs. Either way, talk to someone who knows... a physician. It's not worth screwing with your ticker bro

Well I haven't found a Doc that will talk straight with me. Most just don't wanna talk about it and say to never do it.

This sounds kinda ghetto, but... you could take yourself to a walk-in clinic and inquire (may have to pay out of pocket). Remember patient confidentiality is the ace up your sleeve. Be candid with a physician, TELL him/her that you understand the risks and would appreciate their help in making an informed decision, that's their job. If they are shit heads, there's no harm in "shopping" around for a physician who is knowledgeable. U in US right?

can you see a specialist without a referral?

My friends and I have had luck with this approach.

meh... say screw it and take Oxandrolone. Good luck dude.

while aas will lower your hdl and raise your ldl cholesterol, there are no scientific studies that conclusively link aas use to heart disease. and there are recent studies coming out that link heart disease with lower testosterone levels (implying higher t levels are heart protective). that said, lower hdl and higher ldl are markers for increased heart attack risk. so, the upshot is that it is unclear whether aas increase your heart attack risk. to be safe, i'd stay away from aas like Winstrol (winny) which tend to decrease hdl more than other aas. and regarding blood pressure, perhaps your doctor could prescribe a combination medication like and ace inhibitor coupled with a diuretic (its a very common med for bp). that would help keep the water bloat down and theorectically low your bp.

obviously don't take Winstrol due to cholesterol issues. I would not take anything like drol or dbol due to water retention. Stick with moderate test/anavar/primo. Heart attack is only one concern, then there are anyerisms, strokes, kidney failure etc. DPR or Stone Cold had a good post here about about high blood pressure etc.

Dont be stupid Bro. The only thing being huge is going to do for you when you bite the dust from a heart attack is cost your family more for a bigger coffin.

As stated, stick with the less mild stuff and get rid of the Winstrol (winny). Im sure you would not have much of a problem selling the winny...

Um, except that they do cause heart disease...

You just said yourself that steroids raise LDL and lower HDL. This, in turn, causes heart disease.

Yeah, I can sell the Winstrol (winny). I'll just take the test and primo.

Good idea, don't over do it with the test either. I would drop the Winstrol (winny) and var is also harsh on lipid profiles. If you must take an oral take proviron or a very mild dose of var for strength purposes. Also drop the arimidex and pick up some exemestane. Arimidex also affects lipid profiles and hdl/ldl for the worse while exemestane effects lipid profiles significantly less and is more effective in estro sides.

i think all of the info ppl here are saying is right!

bro ur gonna have to eat SUPER CLEAN! ur gonna have to eat omega-3's and unsaturated fats until ur shit smells like fish haha!! but seriously i dont think ull have too much of a problem if u dont overdose... and be very careful.

So should I run just the Test e and Primo with clomid as a pct?

Would I even need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like arimidex with this?

ya man u need Aromatase inhibitor (AI) to minimize bloat... whch minimizes BP bcuz ur heart doesnt have to support extra weight... u should use soemthing like aromasin or soemthing on the powerful side, thats just my guess...

others with more experiene will gve u more info... just wait and the answers will come
