abs feel bloated/watery towards the night

parham

I am banned!
so i wake up with a decent 6 pack pinching very little fat at the bottom of abs. but after my last meal at 11:30pm and when i take a shower i notice it looks watery overall and i can pinch more in the lower part. its just kinda depressing lol. is it normal? im eating 4200 cals natty atm. pretty much after my last meal of the day it happens.

Carbohydrates cause water retention. You eat carbs during the day. Over the course of your sleeping, that water is pulled from your tissues, and put into your bladder.

This is assuming a traditional diet and a lack of medical conditions of course. :)

Great info, halfwit! I did not know that. Do you happen to know why the body does this? If you want, you can point to a medical journal, I understand enough to get the main gist of them.

That one is pretty dry, but actually covers the chemistry side.

Nice and simple explanation for the most part. I feel that the author left out a bit though.

It's a blog, but I feel that it covers what the second lacks, and doesn't make your eyes glaze over like the first.

TYVM! I am fine with dry papers - it seems to be an unwritten rule that they be dry and as boring as humanly possible.

Yeah, which is a shame as I think more folks would be inclined to learn if that wasn't the case. You would be amazed (maybe not lol) at how many folks fail electromagnetic theory III, just because the text was near impossible to read. I just happened to enjoy the topic, so I was fine - but if I didn't care for it, it would have been 10x more painful. :spin:

Yeah, a lot of my nuclear engineering topics were like that. Theory upon theory upon theory...
