I've always had abs my whole life and recently have just been putting a little bit of fat on my abs and obliques. Does anyone know what some good workouts are too rip apart my abs and obliques?
Jup check youre diet bro, if u on the other hand want more muscle then go with WEIGHTS, a non weight exercise wont give shit. Cable Crunches is my favourite.
That's just not true. I have developed some killer abs before without ANY weighted sit ups or cable crunches. Cable crunches are good to do everyonce in a while. They will definitely thicken your waist though.
try v-ups. if done properly they really hit your abs hard. Just make sure that your shoulder blades and heels are not touching the floor when going down. I do three sets of 20 and they really make my abs burn from top to bottom.
bob marley: ok, so then you could grow killer arms and a V-taper like hell without any weight? Muscle is muscle, the same! it answers to weights and not much else, if u want bigger and badder abs then you will be needing weights.

You said it man, bigger abs. No one wants bigger abs. We want more defined abs. Weights can help you bring out the muscle a littel better, but they will make your waist bigger as you have just confessed to.
yea, bob is right. look at a powerlifter for example, they are using mad amounts of weight for their ab workouts, they take off their shirt... what do u see? not very defined at all... but if you punch them in the stomach you will probably break your hand its just like the ol sayin goes... "if you want toning, do light weight high reps, you want mass do heavy weight less reps" it applies to abs as well. the weight of ones body is just fine
