Hi All,

Im totally new to this forum and looking for some advice please :rainbow:

Im 29, 5ft 9, currently weigh 162lbs and i train in Mixed Martial Arts and am hopefully fighting later on in the year. I train 5 times per week doing 4 conditioning sessions and anything up to 10 technical/sparring classes each week in wrestling, muay thai, Brazillian Ju Jitsu and boxing.

My coach has recommended Anavar to me but im completley new to anabolics, i have used various different supplements over the years but have never gone on the 'gear' side of things.

My weightclass for fighting is 145lbs and i carry most of my 'chunk' on my stomach and thighs. I used to weigh just over 18 stone but lost the weight over 7 years ago, i know im not going to be 'tight' on my tum and legs from skin elasticity but my coach has recommended the anavar for the strength gains more than anything. I have pretty strong and muscular arms and legs but am looking for gains on my back and chest more than anything.

I currently eat 6 meals per day and dont have bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc. I follow a clean diet and have a cheat some weekends, dont drink or smoke and supplement daily with Green Vitality and Alkalising compounds. I sometimes use Jack3d or thermo's prior to training but only when ive had a tough week and am tired. Im off the protein shakes at the moment but will be going back on them in a couple of weeks.

Could anyone give me any advice on if this would be suitable for me from an impartial point of view and what kind of cycle i should be looking at in terms of dosage, length and if i should load and then taper?

Thank you all so much in advance.

Kick ass unhave a. Fight coming up.I've ran anavar at 100 mg every day, but that's a dose for a man . A woman would start at 5mg daily then work up to 10mg after 2 weeks run that for 4 weeks then take a break for at least 6 weeks.but for fighting bad choice.I've done pankration and jits for 5 years.the pumps anavar will give u will gas out ur arms fast.if u want run it 2months befor ur fight so u can see how u feel sparring and rolling.the ladies will chime in soon and will give u great advice on anavar from a women's view.

Hi! I'm just finishing up my first eight week Anavar (var) cycle. I use to train in muay thai for about 4yrs and stopped when I decided to go back to school and work full time. I miss it. I believe adding Anavar (var) would def add strength to your clenches and holds but "joetapout" might be right when it comes to experiencing strong pumps while choking someone out. The lactic build up might make you gas. Try running a cycle for training to see how you like it.

I ran 5mg week 1, 10mg week 2, 3 and 4, 12.5mg week 5, then tapered back down; 10mg week 6 and 7, 5mg week 8. I experienced night sweats while sleeping during my 12.5mg week but no other side effects. I liked it, got nice gains and strength. I'm planning on running another cycle after an eight - ten week rest.

Good luck on your fight, I'd like to hear you knocked her out with a knee to the face!
