Hey guys I'm gonna be working nights now. 10pm-6am. Consecutive nights this isn't gonna be a shift work or rotating hour type schedule.

I plan to workout at 7:30-8:30pm before work. Sleep after work from 7:30-4pm

What I am asking for advice on is meal time. And suggestions would be much appreciated

What I was thinking is
breakfast 5pm
Train 7:30-8:30pm
Post workout snack 9pm
Lunch midnight
Snack 3am
Dinner 6:30-45am
Sleep 7:30am-4pm

i dont know why people have a hard time with night shifts..

its no different than a day shift.

youre up for let say 16 house a day... divide your day into sections and eat every 3 to 4 hours.. you'll be fine..

You are right essentially however working night shifts your sleep cycle can be thrown off, energy can be off lots of factors in your life change, so that's why people "have such a hard time"
Thanks for your input

I work 7 days Dat shift off 7 and then 7 nights. 12 hour shifts.

I get to the gym 3 days on 1 off religiously. I eat pretty much the same on either shift with the exception of the first and last night shifts. On those days I supplement a couple extra protein shakes.

Its a lifestyle I've become accustomed too. It wasn't easy getting things dialed in but any thing worth doing is rarely is.

This. Bang on.

I do the exact same shift. I eat every 3 hrs regardless of what shift Im on. Night is hard on the body though, no fuckin doubt about it.

I worked 3 24s and a 12 weekly as a medic..

If you work nights your circadian rhythem Woll adjust as time goes on.. Its like experiencing jetlag sorta

I do 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts, days and nights, yes it's hard with the eating but like 3j said u just make it work, thank god for protein shakes..lol
