advice

Lmao! Okay Mr. Expert.... Don't critique me unless you know what your talking about bro.

judging from not only the advice you gave newbie here but the arms in your avatar i would call myself an expert compared to you mr dbolsmoothie

High reps for fat loss. Focus on compound movements like squat, deadlift, bench. Those burn the most calories out of all the exercises. Example: day1: shoulders day 2: legs. day3: off. day4:back and bis. day 5:chest and tris. day 6:off
There's an example routine. Make sure to incorporate compound movements like squats for leg day. Deadlifts for back and bi day. Bench for chest day. Do as much cardio as possible if your cutting.

right i think ive got it worked out .. alot of cardio , alot less calories than im taking now drop down to about 1500? and keep the weights there but do alot more of them but lighter so i can sqeeze more reps in ? does that sound like the route to go for higher fitness and cutting? currnetly doing 3-4 days at the gym at the moment think on my days off go for a light jog in the morning to help tht bit extra .... like i say all the risks scare me i want to make them as minimal as possible so ill be following every1s advice ... my 1st goal in the coming months is get my cardio 100% and 2nd goal drop my fat to a minimal but that will obviously happen with the cardio anyways... when ive done all that its cycle time and obviously ill know more about it all by the time i think about starting :) but when the time comes guys i hope im still talking to all you lot ill make sure im a regular on here so when the time comes i can post my how im getting on gains/stats ect

1500?!?!?! I just did a basic calculation based off your weight and activity level you posted and your maintenance is in the 2700 range. Figure you actual TDEE and subtract 500 cals from that. Then get your macros in line. Stick with that for a bit and see how your body reacts. Continue to tweak your diet from there.

Tons of cardio is also not the end all and be all of cutting success. Cutting is 80% diet and the rest training. I also see no reason not to lift heavy. More lean body mass means more cals burned at rest. Your goal is to eventually do a cycle to put on size, yes? So why not focus on a cutting diet, lift heavy, and let the body fat drop off while still maintaining the lean body mass you have? If you end up doing the super low cals and massive cardio, you'll burn fat, but also plenty of muscle along with it.

The whole high rep-low weight, massive cardio, super low cal advice just makes me think of all the girlie cardio bunnies that don't want to get big muscles. Just trying to steer this guy away from cardio bunny mentality. OP, go lift something heavy!!!

hell yes! besides that when i'm in a caloric deficit lifting heavy with high intensity and low volume is the #1 technique for maintaining strength and muscle imho and from my own personal experience.

right so i should just stick to doing heavy weights yes .. and obviously more cardio. i do want to get bigger but like i say i just want to get fitter before i start with the hardcore stuff. thanks for the input its much appreciated theres not many people that do much body building around my area ones that do it propelrly anyways most of them dont even think about pct the risk or anything they just stick the needle in and think everything is going well but i obviously aint going to do that hence me getting all the info/input as i can ... using all you guys as a guide really to help stear me in the right direction :)
