Alcohol while on cycle...

I know this isn't a good idea because it will put even more stress on the liver but with work sometimes a glass or two of wine or a couple beers with work related clients is a must. I'm not getting drunk or drinking a ton of liquor by any means is it still a really big risk even if it is only once a week tops. usually I have meetings at restaurants dinner time every two weeks so it's not often by any means. Should I avoid alcohol all together?

A couple drinks isn't going to harm anything brother. A glass of wine or a beer or two is fine. And once a week IMO is fine as well. The only issue is when one start getting loaded drunk and/or drinking a couple/few times a week. remember to keep hydrated with H2O as well.

Everything in moderation man. Be smart and you will be ok.

Just don't let one or two drinks lead to 10 or 12 :)

I got all that heavy drinking out of my system in college thankfully. Grew up a lot by the time I graduated realizing I didn't need to be doing that to my body. That's why we learn and mature I guess

Ya that's the type of drinking you wan to avoid. Its hard on the liver, its terrible for you muscle and system in general and you lose a day of training and eating due to being hung over. A drink or two is fine. I enjoy one or to now and then myself :)

drinking is counter productive to your goals..be smart about the decisions you make on cycle

I remember reading somewhere Arnold used to have a shot of whiskey before training as well as some 'herbal' treatment. Pre workout formula FTW!!!

I work in financial markets so drinks are a usual way of negotiating business. When preparing for a contest I'm upfront that i won't touch alcohol.

Otherwise, i consider how much the business meeting means to me and if not drinking with the other person will jeopardize the transaction

And any grown adult will be ok with another adult refraining from having an alcoholic beveragefor whatever reason that may be.
