This place is slow lately and needs something so I'll see if I can help.

Remember guys all the gear in the world isn't going to change genetics. Gear doesn't melt the fat or build the muscle.

Diet is KING.

Everything that goes on or comes off is a result of food. When you eat, what you eat, how much you eat will either speed up or piss-off your goals that fast.

Take it easy, keep it simple and don't skip a damn thing until EVERYTHING is automatic. Automatic from shopping to taking a dump.

Best advice ever... Eating like a bodybuilder takes practice... And the diet should become a matter of habit. Shopping becomes a no-brainer when you begin to think 3rd world..... brown rice, beans of all sorts, yams and sweet potatoes, oatmeal. Protein should be as lean as you can afford. Good fats should come from nuts and avacodos and olives. Never eat processed food... If it doesn't still look like it did when God made it... Don't eat it! And finally, especially for U.S. citizens, please rethink your relationship to sugar ... This includes white rice, white bread, AND ALCOHOL
 
In keeping along the lines started by my brother in arms I d like to point out the importance of genetics.

My point is to identify who you are and what body type you are what your weaknesses are and attack in that direction.

My size is directly related to food intake. But my chasis is so worn down and 200 plus pounds hurts knees..ergo

True story CFM.

I gained 25 lbs in one year with a very strict diet, strength went through the roof, and overall well being increased. I stayed around 175-185lbs for the previous 5 years. This last year I gained 25lbs through diet. I've never ran AAS but I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping my gains are insane through diet, and I plan to log it on the site
 
I agree but let me tell you Mike the unknown the variables some times cannot be planned for. I have kids and a wife so its always something. Thats not even making excuses. Shit comes up that derails me all the time and all I can do is get back on track as quickly as possible. With my life theres nothing automatic. I can plan for the worst and hope for the best...... thats the best I can do! Even with my jow, Im on call and you just never know. So I try to stay diligent and roll with the punches. There are people that live in a bubble and lack perspective. They only see it in black and white but too many times I find myself in the grey trying to get back to blaqck and white. My new motto is " It is what it is " all I can do is stay true and right the ship quickly when it gets off coarse. I dont mind most of the time but sometimes when the unknown comes in bunches its tiresome...... you know what I mean?
 
Hey guys id like to chime in... i was 240 about 3 1/2 years ago. i busted my ass ate right and now am 170. btw im only 5'10 so at 240 i was pretty much a lazy fat cock smoker... dont know why my wife stayed me. Anyway i started using gear about 6 months ago cause i hit a point where i couldnt see anymore results and i was going to the gym 6 days a wk. so my issue is i still have this fear that if i stuff all this protien down my throat ill blow up like a fat fuck again...

OK so i started off taking 100mg/day with test gel. came in a little container that you click four times, then 100mg will be out and you rub it wherever. i rubbed it all over my balls and now there swollen!!! LMFAO JK JK ok sorry had to throw in a little joke. All jokes aside, i was taking anastrazole 2 xs a week along with this. Now i just got 15mg Euro Anavar and i want to take this. I was going to continue taking the test with Anavar, until i saw that people where saying DO NOT do this, What are your suggestions? I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SHUT DOWN!!!! PLEASE HELP! i appreciate any help from anyone, thanks again!!! MY stats are 5'11 185 22. thanks again, everyone stay safe.

By the way, just to chime in here if anyones looking for a good diet i gotta recommend 3Js carb cycling. Im on my second week and im feeling its def worth the investment. Lots of food and kind of a pain in the ass to shop & prepare but its working wonders.

This is where I was gonna go with the rolling w/ the punches rollercoaster.
That and keep a prepacked tupperware meal in the fridge, in case you gotta roll out in a hurry.
Between that and the shakes, you should have a good window to deal w/ 'life' and stay on diet.
There's just no getting around diet in this hobby. Whenever I start to see my progress slow, 90% of the time it's diet related.
The last thing I'd like to stress is what worked last month diet wise, won't nec cut it this month. So constantly re-assess what's going on in this area.

cfm, dead on about the diet man, a lot if not most people I know train their ass off but have no clue how to eat to reach their goals.

for the guy who has a family and work that requires on call, as far as training goes, not talking about diet, if possible get yourself an adjustable bench and some free weights, you can do wonders with basic shit. may not be ideal, but if you're on track with your diet, at least you can pound some arms, bench, bent rows, etc...if in a time crunch. I have kept mine on hand for years.

this is where I disagree, I know diet is a big part, but I know a kid who is 17? I think now, and he eats like 2 full pizzas, goes to the gym with mcdonald burgers, and he is most likely bigger then 95 percent of the people on here, but he is on all the gear in the world. haha

Ah, food... the best steroid on the planet. Unfortunately overlooked. I know a bunch of people that train well, want to juice, take those hyped up supplements and when I ask how's your diet they end up telling me they go to Wendy's everyday. A shame! :dunno:
