Fit to Fight
I was just prescribed testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by my Doc. Why is this amazing? Because I'm in the Army and the military medical establishment seems to be very stubborn on TRT.
I first realized that the normal limits for bloodwork done by the Army is way different than the civilian sector. IIRC the Army bottomline for total test is 200 ng/dl and free test is 35 pg/dl (i think i got the units of measure right.
My values were 300 total test and 75 free test. As you can see I'm within normal limits by Army standards but way out by "civilian" standards.
My Doc is uneducated on this but he has started me on one tube testim a day. I think I can work with him to educate him on a few things like appropriate bloodwork and maybe a switch to cyp later. Babysteps! LOL Thoughts? BTW I can't afford to go outside the Army.
