Never been but I know you can have some fun. I know some dutch people....they are very liberal and open.
It's actually common for children to shower with their parents up till the age of 12....that is normal. It seems perverted here but not over there.

Nighttime is when Amsterdam really comes to life. Sure there are a lot of cool museums and stuff to see during the day too but the night life is fucking awesome. The night clubs/dicotechs are a blast.
You can buy marijuana and hash in the "Coffee shops" and Shrooms and other natural psychedelics in the "Smart Shops".
At night street vendors sell other things.
I actually would travel to other smaller cities sometimes in the Netherlands just to avoid all the traffic and people in Amsterdam.

Oh and some of the prostitutes are hot as hell...some could be models.

Its funny... I asked my German GF what she thought of women selling sex. She said she would never do it but its like any other job. The government taxes and controls it in most European countries. They are tested regularly also... They just have a different view on sexuality and morality there...

I havent been there in many many years but the one thing I remember is have lots of snacks on hand. Restaurants are very particular there and in other parts of europe. They're only open breakfast lunch and dinner and they close down between meals. This may have changed sicne I have been. many moons ago
