another ridiculous bust

“Steroid traffickers market their product by luring young people with promises of enhanced performance and appearance,” DEA Administrator Karen P. Tandy said, “but what they don’t say is the illicit use of these harmful drugs can destroy the very bodies that they are supposed to improve. Drug traffickers prey on the belief that steroids enhance ability, but steroids only rob that ability, as we have seen so often from the affected lives of too many youth and professional athletes.”

I totally agree with this. Now where did I leave my pack of cigarettes at?

China is said to be trying to clean up their act as we speak. How serious it is, is anyone's guess. However the Mexican thing was a long time coming. There have been rumblings about it for a while now.
Im sure that the chinese are just doing that because of the olympics after that business as usuall i mean they make ALOT of money on steroids and other hormones so i think its just an act to show the world we are doing something..

Agents now have the names of more than 2,000 customers ? individuals and distributors ? and will work with authorities in every state to decide whom to prosecute.

This is bad.

Damn, from the sound of that article it looks as if they are going after the companies themselves, not merely some importers/smugglers and customers. I agree that Mex prices will probably jump fairly significantly in order to make up for all this lost product. This will probably overflow of a bit to other sources around the world who realize they can raise their prices a bit and still have the best in the biz.
This pisses me of the no end... Since when have the mexican cartel smuggling cocaine, heroin, and m.j. been curtailed so they are no longer a problem. That bussiness is 10,000x times the size of these steroid distributers and infinitely more damaging to those who use it. Those street drugs ruin live and get people killed, while the worst these Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) do is cause and abcess due to contaminated product!

Cheap? not sure where your getting that. I remember gas at .89 cents a gallon and preloads 2 bucks a peice. sten for .50 an amp. now that was cheap but it was before 1994

As for China:
IMO, our Government will always be on the lookout for packages consistently coming into the USA to the same addresses. China is a communist country, and our (USA)political alliance and peace with them is balanced at present but always on the edge of becoming shaky. They support Northern Korea, for example, so there will always be a tug-push-pull in regard to China and the USA.
Now powders are cheap as heck, and most of us know how to properly make our own brew. If not, there are so many recipes and instructions and feedback in great detail online that a chimp could be taught how to make Test Enanth, for example. Just about all powders come from China, even those that are purchased in the USA or Canada are originally from China.
China has been cracking down supposedly on HGH and Powder suppliers in that country. I personally have not seen any hard evidence on this at all. HGH can be purchased for much less recently (still expensive, but prices have dropped) and powders are sooooooooo cheap still. I just don't see China as the next crack down, as we (USA) have no access to that country in regard to its political monitoring, drug reform, trafficking, etc. We (USA) own Mexico, so to speak. Mexico has been referred to as the 51st State of the US. We own President Fox's soul. The CIA and Feds roam the streets of Mexico City, Central America, and Colombia. We have VERY LIMITED access in terms of control and policing in China.

Hats off to the Red Star for keeping powders and HGH available and cheap!
I am against communism, but all for the "free-trade" that the WTO set up in this regard! One thing the USA does openly allow with China is trade. That will keep us all at the equivalent of .89 cents a gallon of gas in terms of gear.
