my routine is squat mon. bench tues. dead fri, and some assistance thrown in. keepin reps below 8 for everything except warm ups.
Im having mental problems though
. For bench im at a point where every weak is a new PR and its overwhelming. squating and dead lifting im fine but for some reason when I bench for my working sets i seem to buckle under the weight just because i cant overcome it mentally.
I have heard that this is one thing lockouts/board presses can help with, and I would start doing those but I wont have a spotter soon and my rack doesnt have those bars that go through it for lockouts. Im trying to avoid buying another rack because ill feel stupidforbuying this one, any other ideas to help mentally overcome the weight?
