thread for black ops n bf3: http://www.steroidology.com/forum/g...black-ops-ii-battle-field-3-players-here.html

I want to play Batman Arkham City so bad, but I haven't beat Asylum yet. The game play and story seem pretty cool so far in Asylum so I can only guess City is great. I just got side tracked with Arkham Asylum, and at this point it will likely be a while before I get back around to it. Not to mention just recently decided to do the entire God Of War series. I've beat the prologues on the PSP (chains of war, and ghost of sparta). I'm on the original God of War now on PS3 (the one that was first released I believe on PS2).

Anywhoozle, cool to see gamers here.

Say it aint so Vino, say it aint so :worried:....take it back, just take it back!

Hahaha hey look it takes a man secure with himself and confidence to play this game...... We played it twice and never did again. But it's fun bro trust me! No homo. Hey now u can start the Anime thread kaname. Come on do it!!

I play wow and have been for years. I play a warlock on stormreaver horde side. Lvl 90. I do arenas and bgs only. Raiding is gay and boring for me

Favorites: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Arkam Asylum (have Arkam City but havent started)
Dead Island
The Walking Dead (You all have to try this. Its like a choose your own adventure book from the 80's... if you could read then......, I hated it the first day then by day 2 I was hooked unlike anything I ever played )

PC gamer mostly. Long time Battlefield fan, but BF3 ruined the series.

I hate the COD series, it gives zero stimulation. I saved a bunch of videos of me going 25-0, 35-1, etc. Its nothing about difficulty, its just too damn simply and requires nothing more than a monster and hours to waste killing 12 year olds...Best being 62-1 on a COD.

Same thing ruined Planetside 2, crappy community. I have a SS of me with 120 kills and 1 death...That game crashed and burned thanks to its shitty F2P system.

Personally I prefer more in depth games. I like games where you manage the economies, the political side of things, and direct the combats entire strategy.

The Total War series(Shogun 2, Empire, Rome, etc).
Don't Starve.
Settlers 7
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II
Skyrim
Fallout New Vegas.
Anno 2070.
Minecraft.
War Thunder
Kerbal Space Program
Farcry 3

I just beat Arkham Asylum and plan to play Arkham City soon. Currently doing a Dead Island multiplayer play through with my brother. Dishonored was one of the best games I have ever played through.

Personally I have lost taste in online games. The gaming industry has moved away from competently built games designed around the gamer to soulless designs that keep people playing with useless gimmicks.

Late 90's and ear 00's was the golden age of gaming. You could buy a game(ex: Battlefield 1942) and besides just the game itself the modding community would produce countless mods(Eve of Destruction made it into Vietnam, Desert Combat mod, Star Wars mods, hell even G.I. Joe mods). And that is how most games used to be.

Today most games come out with their code locks and features in place to make modding nigh impossible. Which usually results in disenfranchising the more enjoyable communities from mainstream games resulting in really shitty communities. Not to mention DRM's, and companies like EA making you buy a new code to access online play if you bought the game used.

I also enjoy Emulation. Be it NES, Genesis, SNES, GBA, or even Turbogrfx or atari lol.

No system will ever top the N64, and no PC gaming era will ever create better memories than the 98-2004 era. IMO of course.

try Tropico 4 it's probably the best sim out there since Simcity 4. Borderlands series is fun as well.. Dialogue kills me. Once I got past the fact that you can't treat a FPS combat sim like you were trained to actually fight.. it was easier to turn off brain, go shoot and relax. before that I used to get pissed at ballistics and.. just about everything.

BF3 is a badass game, especially if you have a few guys who can team up and play as a squad

I'm assuming your stoked for BF4 to come out then?

I cant wait!

Personally I was very pissed off with it! I beat it in a few days and I thought the world would open up to me... when the game ended I thought I was just about maybe half wat and that the world woudl suddenly open up with many areas.... but it didnt, it just ended... very disappointed with it.

I love the old school games too! EMU for GBA SNES, N64 all of tem, love em old days. too busy with new game slaitly. i beat fallout 3 not long ago after i am done assasin creed 3, borderlands 2 ( just beat 1 last week and took me few weeks) then ill be trying newvages a shot.

i downloaded skyrim, beat the main story but havent playe since (about a month) i prob will again, buy the house, see what else there is to do..

Just curious as the new PS4 apparently is the topic of the day on some gaming boards. Made me start to wonder if we have any gamers at ology. If so are you rocking xbox, playstation, or comp? A thread was posted today asking if anyone was planning on buying the PS4 when it comes out (I think it's slated for around Christmas time). I haven't really seen any titles that turn me on, but I figured I might as well get one, as something is bound to hit around the same time. Anybody else?
