Any New Supplements Worth A Try

SecondBest

Just One More
hello,

well i am wanting to get back into working out, but have been out dated with some of the supplements.

is there anything specific i should use? or is there anything newer that is a top seller that i should try?

creatine and mutli-cit are still really the only solid supps....others are still speculation..

i am looking for a list of some of the building blocks of muscel gain supps. in the past i have used 5 along with vitamins.

Whey Protien

Creatine - CE2

Blast Cycle

Amino Acids

Glutamine

Are there any other items that one needs, or what do you recomend (brand names, etc) for the items listed?

Generally I don't recommend Muscle Tech supplements (too much hype involved), but I recently bought some of their Nano Vapor, since it was on sale plus I get my 30% discount on it. The stuff gives you a nice kick of energy for your workout, plus keeps you anabolic, so over time you'll probably notice some decent gains (aasuming your busting your ass in the gym and your diet's up to par). It also contains some creatine and arginine. Check it out. I mean, it's sort of an all-in-one supplement. But, don't buy it if it's more than $40 - I've seen it for cheaper online. Good luck!

Honestly bro, the basics are still the best..IMO I'm not sure how long you've been out of the game but I've been really into researching and expirementing with the supplement side for about 10 years now and the best is still the stuff I used 10 years ago. I mean you've got your no-explode (bsn) and latest gimicks but they are all just combo's of the stuff people have been using for years in a brighter higher priced package.
Creatine is still great for bulking and strength. It comes in a new ethyl ester form but if you're bulking I wouldn't pay the extra for it. The new form just prevents excess water retention, etc. Whey protein isolate is the way to go. Also get some pure BCAA powder to give it a kick and it helps build mass. Alot of people rave about Tribulus but honestly I couldn't tell if it worked.. the results weren't very noticeable. I did however get excellent results with DHEA. My opinion is that product is under rated. I mean I saw very noticable results in 12 weeks! Its basically a prohormone. ZMA is still pretty standard. L-Carnitine does work if you take enough (at least 2-3 grams) And of course your basic vitamins and minerals. Diet and routine are key. Hope that helps!

creatine ethyl ester is way batter than the regular monohydrate! that stuff dont make u bloat at all! actually it might burn some fat if u combine it with good regime, exercises and supp!

Whey isolate is nasty and dont need for it! many people are sentitive to that stuff, it will make have diherrea, look for meal replacement from champions nutrition! bst taste annd relaly good stuff! take some tibulus and miconized L-Glutamine as well! u can add vitamin C and muti vitamins for best reults! i am actually running all that! except creatine! maybe nect month i will start over again! tooooooooooo hot for roids now! in LEBANON LOLLLLLLL hahaha

PureCEE (creatine ethyl ester)
Beta-alanine
RED Blast (CEE + AEE + stims and other iNOS)

any good whey isolate is fine. Other proteins to consider are milk protein isolate and micellar casein.

l-glutamine is worthless. You want alanine-l-glutamine or glutamine peptides.

Your focus should be more on diet and getting your training back up to par. Figure out which routine will be more beneficial for you and the poundage's you can do for every exercise. This will take around a month. Get your mind & body used to the stress of lifting again.

Protein powders (whey for PWO and maybe upon waking up & a casein for bedtime, and during the day), and a multi vitamin should be your top two supplements. Creatine & BCAA's are my nest two choices ... maybe a stimulant if you feel thats what you need.

awesome info thank you all. my goal is to loose some weight before i bulk. should these supps be taken during weight loss or specific for when i start wanting to bulk?
If so what are some good supps during weight loss if any ( besides get your ass up and to the gym)?

I would buy a Whey Isolate protein powder. I like the Cold-Filtration from TrueProtein.com.

I would also buy a multi vitamin (I need one real bad cuz I hate veggies).

This is where I would start. You can also add in Creatine Ethyl Ester, Fish Oil caps, etc depending on how much money you want to end up spending.

In this case here's what I would do. Block off 12 weeks and make a goal for the end. Diet: Low-Carb/High Protein (check out the South Beach Diet plan if your unsure how to design your own). Routine: 20-30 min's of Cardio everymorning or 30-40 minutes in the evening or following your routine. Training routine: Light(er) weight, more reps, HIGH INTENSITY. I would still do a split routine (i.e. split your body into 4 sections, working out different parts different days then rest, then repeat) Stay away from those total body in a day routines... thier crap IMO. Supps: DHEA (50 to 150mg depending on your sized) every day. L-Carnitine 1gm in the am, 2gm before workout. and a good multivitamin. you could thow in an herbal energy tab or caffeine before your cardio if you want.
Try that, you will NOT BE DISSAPOINTED.. I guarantee it!! At the end of the 12 weeks you'll be leaned out/low BF and ready to bulk or move on to another phase of training.

Try this product...

I do lot of strength training and I have found MuscoMax is an excellent product. My stamina has increased and I am able last much longer at my workout sessions. The full credit goes to MuscoMax.
