I've started making my own chilli, it's easy, it tastes good, and it's pretty healthy (I think)
I use a package (1-1.5lbs) of extra lean ground beef, cook it in about a tablespoon of olive oil, then throw in the kidney beans, green/red peppers, onion, mushrooms, tomato puree and spices. I can't really see anything in there that's unhealthy, and I like the fact that I know exactly what's in it. Seems like it would be good for bulking or cutting, since it's basically just protein and low GI carbs (a decent amount of fiber too)
What do you guys think?
